Swamp Fire Complete Cajun Seafood Boil, 1 Pound Bag

It was very tasty, almost like what I ate at Hot n Juicy. I only used a spoon of powder so I think I can use this package for a year, if I make shrimp boils every month. For your reference, this is what I did.1. thaw frozen shrimps in a bowl of cold water(jumbo, 20-30), steamed 2 corns&6 small red potatoes.2. melt one and a half stick of butter and put 2 Tb minced garlic. Be careful not to burn garlic.3. add a table spoon of this spice + lemon zest from a jumbo lemon, white and black pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika powder(the amount depends on you)4. Put defrosted shrimp into butter with spice, mix gently.5. Add all other ingredients(corns, potatoes, sausages), mix gently. (I added more paprika and cayenne pepper here for the color)6. Transfer all things to a plate. Serve with wedged lemons and parsley leaves.

This stuff is amazing. My brother originally sent me this when he was training in Georgia. I was so happy to find it on Amazon and order more. He also puts it on fried chicken as soon as it comes out of the oil.........you're welcome.If you can't handle spicy, save your money.

Brings the flavor and heat

We overnighted 20lbs of crawfish from Lousiana and my coworker ordered the company's seasonings for the boil and I knew better and ordered this stuff and boy did he regret buying the crawfish company's seasoning because it was absolutely lame tasting compared to Swamp Fire, we added half in with the other seasoning and it completely overpowered the other and tasted amazing. Always remember to douse a LITTLE bit on top of the finished boil.

Expected something better

Higher spicy level without needing too add much more seasoning too the broth
