First of all, I like the fact that it's all aluminum construction. No more broken cages during hard use. Different color options also are a nice touch. Of course it feels somewhat heavier than the original due to it being all metal, but I think that's an easy trade-off for the level of protection it provides.

as soon as i got it i loved the look and as i got my gopro in this case my son tried jumping off the porch so i accidently slung the gopro and case into a rock pit just off my porch. my son is fine he did not fall. but when i picked up the case and gopro it didnt have a scratch on it im very happy with the toughness and how it protected my gopro hero 5 session.

Very well built case. The color is perfect. The only thing I would add is a tether hole.

Would be 5 stars if I could put a lens cap on it.

It’s a little heavier than I thought, but it’s great quality. Not flimsy and I like the camera is secured with a plate and screw instead of a plastic latch.

I needed to replace the original plastic housing for my twins Gopros and I ordered 2 different colors so, they can tell them apart now. They are much more durable than the original housing and we love the colors vs plain black.

I purchased the aluminum housing to mount on my pew pew. Broke 2 of the plastic ones. I will not break this thing. Perfect for my needs.

When using the smallest gopro I wasn't anticipating how much heavier it would be than the plastic frames.

it looks great and strong it's a bit heavier than the plastic one but at least it's unbreakable
