game changer

Great book pity about the formatting
For anyone interested in electromedicine this is a must read. The Biomodulator allows the cell potential to be measured and then increased to normal or a healing level if it is low.Measurement and treatment go hand in hand. However it is the measurement of cell potential that is exceptional (nobody else does it) as it moves the whole process from the subjective to the objective realm:Without a baseline measurement it is very hard to measure how effective a device is.The book spends surprisingly little time on the Biomodulator... and a lot on the background to cell potential. This was a little disappointing but still interesting.Given that the eye was Jerry's specialisation you are getting a well informed opinion.Jerry Tennant's work is the logical progression of the work of Robert O Becker and Robert Beck... who put much of the science and technology into what Jerry is doing (Jerry refers to the work of Becker in particular although much of the electronics sound like Beck). This is a highly original piece of work.Jerry could put a slightly more beefy electromedicine section in the book... explaining where such devices are already used in medicine. Most people are unaware of the range of electromedical devices already used in hospitals or being researched. These devices all use a similar approach although it may not be obvious. If you're interested in the technology a list of places where you can try a Biomodulator or details of pricing would be nice. However this is obviously a book still being developed so perhaps Jerry will add this to the next edition? The overall effect is spoiled by very bad formatting (apparently improved somewhat over the first edition). Many of the diagrams are very blurry making them almost unreadable... and in once case a picture is placed over text.Referencing is also poor... with figures and tables not being labelled at all (word has all this built into it).Pity... because the book would be so much better for it and much of the worst stuff is easy to fix.Bad formatting constantly spoils the reading experience. Formatting will hopefully improve with each edition. Thanks for putting a body of knowledge together in one place. It's well worth reading.:-)

Jerry Tennant book Healing is Voltage.
This is perhaps the most enlightening book about the body that I have ever come across. Dr. Tennant himself has an amazing story. He started medical school at age 19, which is unheard of. He became an eye surgeon and was one of the pioneers in the 70s using lasers to replace the lens of the eye. At that time, no one believed that the viruses in the eye could be a problem so he did not protect himself, and he developed encephalitis (viral infection in the brain) as a result. The medical profession could not help him, and he had only around 2 hours of a day when he was able to focus enough to think. So he went back to the drawing book, so to speak, and built up his understanding of how the body works from a perspective I've never seen presented before. In the past, when someone talked about acidity/alkalinity, I would think in terms of pH of water - H2O can be ionized into H (acid) and HO (alkaline) and that makes me think of atomic structure of atoms like H and O. Tennant divides everything into 'electron-stealers' (acid) and 'electron-donors' (alkaline). But that's just the beginning. He ties together things I'd never seen tied together - like the chakra (glandular) system from India and the acupuncture (meridian) system from China. Wow! Before he's done, he's explained so much - the ways the body uses specific minerals, vitamins, fats. Why BigAg farming is destroying the life of the soil with pesticides. I can not say enough good things about this book. It stands alone.

More Clear than the Handbook. 2 Thumbs up.
I have read both books, Healing is Voltage: The Handbook (2010) and this one, Healing Eye Diseases (2011). I found this book to more a better explanation of the overall concepts that he is integrating into treatment techniques. Again, this book is written in similar format and the editing is clearly self-publish quality. I find that is unfortunate, since the material is clearly of the quality that a major publisher could promote. There is a very limited amount of information on the few eye conditions that are listed in the book, but if one looks at the concepts of how to heal those conditions, I think that understanding the general process of healing other issues is pretty clear.I prefer this work over the first. It is again written in layman's terms, which is helpful. This book reads more clearly like listening to him present the concepts from the front of the room at a workshop. This is not a microcurrent users manual. It is a general overview of the concepts of healing chronic disease. His concepts align perfectly with most of the alternative medicine concepts that I've been exposed to for the 10 years. I give the book 2 thumbs way up and highly suggest that you read this if you have any interest in alternative health at all.

AWESOME BOOK!
As far as I am concerned , Dr Tennant is one of the smartest physicians out there! His book is timeless. I use 3 of the products he recommends and they work. A friend of mine was having therapy and he told her that she and I need to read this book. I immediately ordered it on Kindle and could NOT PUT IT DOWN.... I took the information to my PCP and he gave me a referral to this therapist and he fixed two problems I had had for many years. I have some eye diseases and I truly needed the information he included at the end of the book.

Jerry has written a relatively easy-to-understand book which covers an absolutely essential mechanism of our bodies in healing. The book appears to have been produced from a word processor and includes illustrations (b & w only) from various sources; colour would have been nice, but would have raised the cost of the book. Mixture of images of varying quality lowered my rating as a result. While it 'looks' somewhat amateurish, the content is anything but!His references to 'ancient systems' of knowledge challenged my biases against these as he showed an understanding of multiple paradigms and was able to use these different ways of looking at things to make his points. Definitely 'mind expanding'. While quite opinionated in a few areas ... like the origin of most physical issues starts with the teeth ... he explains his rationale and lets the reader decide. Definitely an eclectic approach to medicine I found engaging, stretching, enlightening, informative and practical. A wide mixture of eastern and western perspectives. While he uses technical terms, it is in the context of educating, and he does explain the terms, often in ways which quite humorously gets the point across. While the processes he addresses can be complex I credit him for making their understanding relatively easy. He succeeds in bridging the gap between theory and practice about how the 'body electric' works and what it looks like in clinical practice. This work dovetails nicely with 'cutting edge' healing practices involving the use of energy and takes the 'woo woo' out of processes which are not yet clearly understood. Reading this helped me recognize the potential of electromagnetic therapies in their ability to induce electric fields in our body chemistry, something which I'd not considered before.Perhaps of greatest help is the way he explains intervention processes through analogies; really clarifies the principles at work. This book comes out at a time when society is beginning to look at alternative approaches to medicine. Jerry helps bridge the gap between the seemingly magical practices of more ancient traditions and the sound science ... often suppressed science ... which is behind them. A timely and useful addition to my medical bookshelf.

Dr. Tennant is a true renaissance man in that he draws conclusions from a wide range of disciplines. His theories of the how the human body works will hopefully eventually make their way into conventional medicine. For anyone struggling with macular degeneration or glaucoma, this book is a must-read.My copy of the book was poorly printed. Many of the graphs and charts were difficult to read. However this was a small price to pay for such valuable information.

Excellent introduction to the healing system of the future.
Excellent introduction to a vital subject. I am putting his theory into practice but cheaply. I find that a grounding sheet helps me sleep better. I am also using electro-acupuncture to recharge my meridians. the effect is extraordinary. Already my diabetic macular edema is improving and I have more energy. He has many videos on youtube as well. Watch these and get his books. It could be a life-saver for you.
