I have been making peyote stitch bangle bracelets using pony beads and Magic Stretch elastic cord for about two months now. I teach preschool, and need some simple jewelry in many colors, to coordinate with the various tops I wear at work . . . That are relatively child-proof. I found these smaller pony beads on line, and have been using them to make bangle with stripes, wave patterns, and even one with Pac man and three ghosts. Work your stitching, zip up the two ends of the bracelet, knot the cord, and glue the knot with clear nail polish. I let the bracelets dry overnight, then clip the elastic flush to the knot. I haven't had one break yet! P.S.- I saw some bracelets at any antique store lately that the dealer had made using these beads and right angle weave. I will have to give it a try!

Didn't realize they were minis.. the fact they are minis I find insane that they cost so much! But I still used them. They are really nice. I just don't think its quite worth how much it costs.

I was disappointed in these beads. Some had cracks. All have point on outside edge. Colors were just okay. They looked cheap to me—maybe for $5, but not $14. Did not count, but no way are there 3000 beads.

Love these beads!!! They are smaller than a normal pony bead which I was not expecting (could be because I was not paying attention) but I like them more than regular pony bead! Still easy to string!
