Simple Touchthe Original Auto Shut-Off Safety Outlet, Multi Setting

As someone who has to sing a song to remind myself that I unplugged something, and then still freak out that I forgot to unplug it when I left the house, this is a life saver. I am no longer paranoid or forced to drive 30 minutes home to check to make sure I unplugged my straightener or heater as I know it will automatically shut off on its own. I will most likely be buying more to have all over my house to use for everything.

I have three of these things, one is used with an electric inline water heater to heat water for an hour to help hydrate substrate faster, the second is connected to a hot plate that cooks a pressure cooker for two hours, and the third is connected to another hot plate which I used to cook rice and beans, or swap to a cheap slow cooker with no timer control to it for 4 hour cook sessions.Very useful item, wish they had one that did ten minute intervals so I could use it to cook because I like to make one pot meals that require no attention.

Works with my box fan, a small air conditioner, a cheap coffee maker (no timer) and an occasionally used soldering iron. Product is good to make sure you never wonder, "gee, did I leave that on when I left the house?".

Bought this after burning up a few coffeepots. We put a red film over the 1 hr light and leave the coffee maker switch On. When we want coffee we press the On button on the timer til it goes to the 1 hour setting. Hot coffee that shuts off in an hour. Especially great at bedtime.

Bought this to replace an identical one that worked for 10 yrs. The new one is defective. It turns on like it should but does not turn the power to the receptacle when the timer is done. Lights on it go off when the time is up, but the power stays on.

I liked the product enough that this is my fourth purchase I use it to control my bed foot heater every nite. I feel safe knowing that it wii turn my heater off keeping me safe 2 of my original are still working. I have also purchased for family members
