Works great BUT too many issues for Chevy's!!!!
Vehicle installed: 2006 Chevy Trailblazer w/ Bose & XM stereoThe device came in the mail and easily was hooked up to my XM w/in 10 minutes. The bluetooth picked up, but with terrible feedback in the speakers. Called Bluefusion Tech Support and let him listen to the noise and he stated...."oh yeah that is a common issue w/ Chevy's, we need to send you another harness". UGH!W/in like 3 days, the harness was on my doorstep. I thought AWESOME! Went and plugged it in to my XM and w/in 5 minutes I was talking on the phone through my bluetooth and car speakers. I drove my car to work and the device functioned flawlessly as I called everyone I could think of that was up that early until I went to use my remote to lock my car upon arriving to work. The front doors did not autolock. Upon further investigation, I noticed the windows functionality was intermittent also. Sometimes I could push the button and it would go down, sometimes not....and even sometimes another window instead. I unplugged the Bluefusion device and all was well with my auto windows and doors again. I then plugged back in the Bluefusion device again and no front auto locks or windows.Called Bluefusion Tech support again and they stated that this is a known issue with Chevy Trailblazers/Envoys and that it is not resolvable. They told me to return the product for a refund.I did give the review a 3 b/c the product is pretty awesome and Bluefusion Tech Support is pretty dang great, but the fact that they know of these issues and do not have it stated on any of the sites selling the product, or even in their own documentation is such a shame. It is like they are "winging" it instead of recalling it or not recommending it be installed in Trailblazers or Envoys.Oh well...live and learn! :)Deena

Works great once you get it working, but had to get help from Scosche
I installed in a 2006 GMC Sierra that had a factory CD/Cassette/XM radio (no Onstar). Installation was very simple, open the glovebox (push the rubber stop away from the part is catching on, no tools required). Scosche provides a harness that will plug in-line to the existing harness (no soldering, wire cutting was required on mine. may not be the case for all installs). Turned it on and the XM radio could still be heard but it was cutting in and out really bad. Called Scosche support. They said it was an issue that affected many 2006 GMs, and they sent me a free replacement harness in about 3 days to resolve the issue. (-1 star). Ran the mic out the side of the dash, up the passenger A-pillar, along the windshield/headliner to the rear view mirror.Once installed it has worked pretty flawlessly. I have Galaxy S3 Android phone. I have the bluetooth volume pretty much all the way up on the phone. Adjusted the Bluefusion A2DP volume level to match what the FM radio stations were at. I can switch between the XM (which is now Bluetooth A2DP stream) and FM and not have to change the volume. A2DP stream sounds great (I don't notice a difference between this unit and my Sony headunit with Bluetooth streaming built in). If you do experience a noisy/bad quality A2DP stream, try adjusting the volume on the phone and A2DP volume of the Bluefusion module. Microphone seems to be clear, have made a few calls with it and other people seemed to hear me fine.Pros:- Affordable (maybe?). I got mine as Amazon Warehouse deal for $40 because the box was a bit smushed. It was $60 new at the time. Some places sell as much as $200 though.- Keep OEM look/features. Don't need to fret about steering wheel controls, losing driver information center.- Mic works better than my Sony headunits with built in bluetooth that have mic in the headunit.- Schosche had great phone support (polite, not a lot of run around, new harness shipped fast)- Easy non-destructive installationCons:- A lot of folks have installation issues. Call to Schosche may be necessary hassle- Interface not super intuitive. Basically Seek Fwd/Right to select an option, Seek Back/Left to hangup, go back a menu.- My headunit doesn't have a big enough display to show all the digits of callers

Great product - but a few minor annoyances
This is a good unit for bluetooth integration with the factory stereo - it sounds good and functions OK. The install instructions were very vague as to mounting the unit, and the advertisement says "no cutting or splicing wires" which is not accurate - they include wire taps to tap in your existing power and ground wires (if you don't have an XM tuner built in). I wound up using a fuse tap and grounding to the chassis because I don't want to tap my truck's harness. Two things that bug me, the volume changes all the time, if I am listening to FM radio and get a call, the call is too quiet - I have the volume all the way up in settings. So when I switch back to FM it's very loud.Which brings up the other annoyance, when you disconnect a call, the radio stays on XM, doesn't switch back to original source. All in all, I like a stock appearance in my vehicles, I think an aftermarket deck would provide many more options and a more intuitive interface - but I haven't found one that looks factory. This is a good solutionedit:after using it a while I am bumping this down to 2-stars, I cant get over the volume changes EVERY time I make or answer a phone call. Also, the A2DP music streaming sounds terrible, anything with bass or drums is really distorted. Wishing I had stuck with my parrot unit, I just wanted text to display and automatic source switching, but this device is not worth it.
