Good camera for the price but some things you should know before buying
I've now got 4 of these and will be adding two more as soon as I get the cat5 pulled. A few things to keep in mind on this camera:1) it's not POE so you have to use a $3 poe splitter2) it uses a proprietary CSM software and I haven't gotten it to work on blue iris or ispy. However I actually like their software and being that this camera install is a new install I can simply buy all Kaicong cameras.3) this model camera will not run on the same CMS platform as another Kaicong camera I have indoors. Basically buy all the same model camera and this won't be an issue.4) field of view is a little more narrow than I'd preferAll things considered this is a great camera for the price and at this price I can certainly put up with the few quirks listed above. Better yet, I can upgrade my home with additional cameras over time. The oldest camera has been recording continuously for about 2 weeks and no issues. I'll amend this review if anything changes

It looks like I'm stuck with the defective one
I bought 4 of these, and (1) is defective. It looks like I'm stuck with the defective one, because I had to also return a defective DVR I bought on Amazon, so while I was waiting for the new DVR to arrive, my 30 days lapsed on the defective camera so I was not able to retune it. Not sure if I will buy another one, as I've been having many issues with Kaicong products lately.

Awesome camera for the price
This camera is amazing for the price. I used it as an ip camera and was able to use onvif to my NVR. The picture during the day is great. It's a 6mm lens. About 60 degree field of view. The night time image looks slightly out of focus but still perfectly find for the price. Was easy to setup and use, just keep in mind a few things if you want to use it with a NVR. It has DHCP enabled by default so the address will change depending on your network. Once you have determined which ip is assigned to the camera (DHCP client list on router), type it into Internet Explorer. The active x plug will download and it will only work in Internet Explorer. At this point you will have access to all configuration of the camera. I highly recommend changing the default login. It comes defaulted to have ddns enabled so theoretically with the default username and password anyone with your ddns information can access the camera, and the ddns and default information is printed on the back of the camera.

Hard to beat the price
Best deal I've seen on a megapixel-class IP camera. Note that you're just getting the camera, none of the usual accessories. 6mm lens gives you about a 60 degree field of view. *Does* work with Blue Iris; choose "Cotier TV-652H/IP port 34567" for the camera type. Q/C not great - had to return 2 of 6.

and this one isn't too bad. For the $14 I spent on it
I work with security cameras all day, and this one isn't too bad. For the $14 I spent on it, its a great camera, but I wouldn't spend much more than that. There are better brands that require less work.

Hearty little camera
I bought these for my house, they are clear, the only thing I don't like is the viewing angle, but if you want a cheap camera that works and looks good and can do analog and networked, get this camera

These little cameras are an extreme value. Quite a lot features for a very affordable price. I bought six of them and am very happy with them.
