Santa Viking Paperback – November 30, 2012

Looking through my folder of Christmas books on my kindle, I found this and wondered why I hadn’t read it before. I was a big fan of Hill's viking books and remember Bolthor well. Stepping back in time to read a story where he finally finds love was a treat. I found all the signature writing-style humor I remembered from Hill. However, I would have liked just a little bit more to the story because I feel his character deserved it. The second story in this duo unfortunately didn't capture my interest, so I didn't finish it. (3.5 stars)

No matter the age, no matter the physical imperfection, as we learn more about the person their best features emerge! What a sweet story of a warrior turned bard n a widow racing against a cousin Kings next arranged marriage!

It was fun. If you like Sandra Hill’s Cajuns and Vikings you’ll enjoy this. If you don’t read either of the series this is not the best introduction.

Its about time Bothor's gets his girl. But, it hurts that this Viking whom became one of the humorous characters in most of the storytelling with his poems gets a novella. Sandra he deserves a follow-up with a story of his own. Maybe in the future with all the children he adopted by marriage and some of his own. I get the impression that he would have a big family. How ever a worthy read and enjoyed the Christmas theme.

I enjoyed this novella. It was cute & a typical Hill book, which I am sorry to say I am tired of. She is very much in a rut as far as I am concerned & don't buy her books new like I used too. But even if you don't buy her books, you will enjoy this one.

I've had both these stories in separate formats so was glad to get them in Kindle format. I love all things Sandra Hill so you know I'll give both short stories a huge smile and a thumbs up. I own all of Hill's books and am working on getting them all on my Kindle. These two may be short and sweet, but they accomplish something special - a feel-good smile when you get to the last page.

Really enjoyed the humor. A book that makes me laugh is a good stress reliever. Enjoyed the historical Viking Christmas setting

i always love all of Sandra Hill books besides the gorgeous vikings, it is so funny and such beautiful storylines, i especially love that this book has 2 stories. And she always incorporates characters from her previous viking books. This one did not dissappoint, it had me laughing so many times it was just what i needed. i so love the vikings.

Two sweet stories, but what happened to Bolthors story ???I was thouroughly enjoying this long awaited tale about one of my favourit characters from all of the viking stories ..... and it just ended with more or less "and they got married" right in the middle of them actualy getting together ... What the hell ???!!!This was a huge dissapointment and I really feel he deserved a better (much longer) effort after all the laughs he has given us with his terrible poetry :(A viking for Christmas was a fun read but somehow lacking Ms Hills usual giggles. I felt so much more could have been gotten out of this story.Still for £2.16 kindle they are worth reading and I would recommend them to fans.

sandra hill as usual gives us a funny, sexy, heartwarming story.I am a Sandra Hill fan and this xmas story is up to her usual standard. Gorgeous hero and feisty heroine, I wish I could find a santa (or any other)viking!

Nobody writes Vikings like Sandra Hill. You can't help falling in love with everyone of them. Wonderful author.

Santa Viking I really love Sandra Hill writing. She tells very good stories and is very funny. Love all the Viking books.
