SEAglasbruk Aqua Jar with Cork Lid, Large, Blue

I needed something for rooting plant cuttings on my kitchen window sill, and this jar fit the need perfectly. It's attractive, has a wide base so it won't tip accidentally, is a gorgeous aqua color (description says green but it's aqua), and the glass itself is substantial. I imagine it would be just as attractive as a small canister. Not certain how air-tight the lid would stay with lots of use, though. But for my purpose, I think the product is excellent. My only "druther" is the price. If it was less expensive, I'd consider buying the matching larger size.

These are beautiful but the lids do not seal, do not close correctly, do not even fit the glass as symetrically as shown in the photo. Too bad they couldn't put a quality seal on it! And I have three of these! Disappointed.
