I enjoy going on hikes with my family so I'm always on the lookout for things that I think would be useful. Generally we do the pretty easy stuff not far from civilization, so we're hardly used to roughing it, but I always like to be prepared in case something unexpected were to happen. This little tool is pretty great - you get a lot of functionality in a VERY small package.So, first of all, it's very sturdy. All the threading is very solid, and is quite durable. While I don't expect to have to use the fishing line aspect of it, the part is nicely tucked away and seems quite functional. The flashlight is surprisingly bright, has a strobing mode that could come in handy, and the little knife is very sturdy and would do in a pinch.Overall, this is probably one of the best combo tools I've seen for emergencies. It won't replace the full size items, but it's a very nice set of tools in a pinch. I'm going to purchase a few more and add them to all the camp packs and probably the family cars as well.

Got this for the husband as an anniversary gift. Instead of reading the directions, he just started unscrewing the thing. Of course he did.He thought the fishing line was the wiring for the flashlight (but didn't lose the little lead weight!) and couldn't find the window smasher after I closed it up again. I had to put the blade in it because he didnt know where it went or why there was a random blade in the box.10/10 one of the most entertaining things I have ever bought him. It's like a fidget spinner for dad. A fidget spinner with a strobe light.I'm so impressed that I may get myself one. I REALLY like it!

Quite an amazing gadget for survival. I looked for something that gives me at least three things: a knife, a fire starter, and a whistle. This tool has all three, but also a flashlight, some paracord, and a fishing hook. I was also able to put some cotton, and 2 water purification pills in some empty areas.I still gave it a 4-star. I see room for some minor improvements. For instance:- The knife seems too small and fragile, I wish to see a big bigger knife, maybe one inch bigger. I also doubt the bottle opener in the back of the knife will be super useful in a survival situation.- The whistle is decent, but it could be louder.- It would have been great if it had an optional empty compartment for stuff, such as cotton, extra batteries, pills, etc.- The glassbreaker in an outdoor survival gadget is not very useful.

Small with little surprises it’s nice gift for father, brother or anyone for any occasion. I got this for myself and it’s great tool thank you.

This is a tool that I will put to good use. It had a flashlight and a little knife. Fishing tool. A whistle. Well made and worth the price.

Don't buy this junk, spend your money on something you can really fish with! Wasted my money, this is worthless! All fit in small necklace box! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS....EVER!!!

Gave this 4 out of a 5 because...Previous reviews mention no flint came with it. At first looked like ours did to so we ordered a replacement. Replacement came and same thing. Looking at the pictures, I noticed the package doesnt have the empty slot where the flint should go, basically different packaging. Unscrew the tool, You will find the flint and it fits in the slot.Feel like this should be fixed in manufacturing so others do not think they dont the get the flint either.
