works great on grout
I needed a bathroom floor grout cleaner, checked into it, and found that this one had great reviews. My research worked. It is extremely fast and easy to use and gets up all the dirt in the grout with just moderate brushing with a stiff brush. I put some warm water in a bucket and add a little of the powder and stir. Then I pour it on the bathroom floor but not around the edges. Around the edges I put a towel in the solution and then wet the floor with the towel. I leave the solution on the floor for 1 or 2 minutes. Then brush with a stiff brush. No need to exert too much force. Dirt comes right off. Then just stick another towel in clear water and wipe it up. Grout will still look a bit dark at that point because the floor is wet. But after a couple hours when the floor is dry, the grout will look very clean.

Wow! I am impressed!
I had a stainless steel travel mug that was gross and yucky from coffee stains and build-up. I washed it regularly and tried everything from baking soda to Oxy-Clean with negative results. After seeing the reviews on Stainsolver, I decided to give it a try. I filled up the mug with hot water, added a teaspoon of Stainsolver, and let it sit for a hour. The results were amazing. It removed everything, I mean there were no stains, spots nothing left. The inside looks like a brand new mug. I'm sold on this product.

Worked great on the right project
First I used this to try and clean some bathroom grout with soap scum. It didn't work at all. I originally purchased this to clean the fireplace soot off of my stucco surround and finally got the project completed today. It really worked well. I applied the product with a stiff brush and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Then I scrubbed the bad places and then cleaned off the area with a wet towel. I wish I would have taken before and after photos because it got the job done! It also didn't change the color of the stucco paint. For that I would give it 5 stars.

Stain Solver worked beautifully on 6-week old blueberry stains
The damage to my off-white Thomasville love seat cushions (seats) more than a month ago was so bad that I couldn't deal with it right away. Imagine thawed, frozen blueberries dropped on off-white upholstery, across an entire cushion and part of another, late at night. All I could do was clean up the mess which spread the juice from the limp fruit around even more. Experimenting with lemon juice applied with many white tissues on the single small spot on the love's seat's arm did no more than lighten the navy blue stain to pale red. Purely to ease my distress, I flipped the cushions over once they were dry, but the stain down one cushion's outermost edge leered at me with rebuke. All I could think was r-e-u-p-h-o-l-s-t-e-r-y.When enough sanity returned for me to search the internet I came across advice to use an oxygen bleach product and I took heart. Stain Solver was my choice but I waited for weeks to use it because it was a big, big job and I don't have energy to spare. Because the little bit I dissolved in a dessert size dish and used the next morning did nothing whatsoever to remove a spot on a dish towel, my suspicions deepened that I had my work cut out for me and/or that the job was hopeless. But I really didn't understand how this product works.Fortunately, I was W-R-O-N-G. You would never know my cushions had multiple blueberry stains on them even though I didn't heed the company's warnings that the product is viable for just a few short hours after being made into a solution. As I said, it was a big job with a great deal of dabbing at so many stains (with white cotton socks since I had no old white towels, so be prepared if you're working with upholstery or drapes), so I had to take breaks, some of which were extended.Off and on, over a period of about 9 hours I dabbed, and rubbed, and after a while I even dropped the solution onto spots with an eye-dropper and walked away; and, surprisingly, each time that I returned to the job I noticed that more & more spots were simply G-O-N-E, and without all that rubbing. I didn't think it was possible.

Did the job, but was the most expensive option I tried. Am waiting to see if the area I cleaned with it stays mildew free for longer than the less expensive products.

Where’s the rest of it?
Received my order today and haven’t had a chance to use it yet but this review is about my disappointment over receipt of a bottle that is not close to being filled up. Looks like it was used and returned and as the bottle was not sealed, it very well may have been. Honestly at this point even if the product works wonders, this will dissuade me from ordering again.

It did not work at all for what I purchased it for. I thought it would clean the grout in my kitchen tiles but it did not. It may be okay for other things so perhaps I can use it in the future for something else.

Works Well on Vinyl Siding
The vinyl siding on the south side of my house sprouts algae every couple years, and it’s a pain to take off with plain soap and water. I bought a jar of this, mixed it with water according to the directions, and the algae came off effortlessly. No pre-washing required, just spray the siding first. For the effort saved, this is well worth the money.
