Garbage. Save your money.
This thing is garbage. It doesn’t stay on my Sherwood composite stick blade and keeps uncurling after every movement.I wound up spending more time trying to fix it staying in than actually shooting outside on my driveway.Seller responded with 2 words “use tape”. Right. In the trash it goes.

Protects your stick blades, very durable product
This is now my second purchase of the Hockey Wrap Around. The first one is over a year old and has plenty of life left on it (I use it on multiple sticks and like to have one for the road.) It allows off ice practice for stick handling and shooting drills with the peace of mind of not ruining your stick blades. It is very easy to install and remove and protects the stick blade entirely. I highly recommend this product if the hockey player(s) in your family enjoy getting the longest life out of their hockey sticks. Fits all sizes of blades as well.16 December 2017I purchased the Hockey Wrap Around before it was listed on Amazon directly from the Hockey Wrap Around guys. It protects your stick blade on all surfaces. It's a great training item to have and keeps you practicing anywhere you go. Extremely easy to install and remove. Coaches, get a few for your team to enjoy the game everywhere, without ruining the players $150+ sticks.

Seriously, just buy it.
I was a bit skeptical, but I got one. This thing, and a green biscuit, are an absolute must for anyone who wants to practice on the street, but doesn't want to ruin their stick. Quit reading the reviews, and just buy it.

Buy this.
For two summers I had been trying to replicate this product in all manor of diy attempts. Before I knew it was a product I tried several layers of tape, a layer of thin cardboard, a layer of thick cardboard, a layer of tin from a beer can, umm drywall repair grid tape stuff, ha I’m sure I tried other stuff too. Some things worked better than others, but nothing lasted more than 2-3 practices on the cement of our melted out rink. And if I wasn’t paying attention and burned past the protection layer, the stick would take noticeable damage. Once the blade cracks, total loss of power on high intensity shots and passes. And to catch a hard pass, you hear and feel how the stick now gives where it used to be responsive. This purchase lasted all summer. It didn’t have any noticeable affect on the way the stick contacted the puck, no change in how it felt to shoot, pass collect or dangle. Low weight, unnoticeable unless you’re actively trying to feel for it. Not like all the junk I tried taping to my stick in the past. This thing is so worth the money. The sticks they sell as street sticks or whatever just feel like toys compared to the ice composite sticks feeling like tools. Don’t use street sticks lol. Same price and worlds better equipment is safely usable instead. You could totally buy a second one and someone from your team will surly offer you more than you paid for it after day one of summer hockey lol.

Great product but for a very short duration.
I've been using hockey wrap around for a little over a year now. I tried out this new "more durable" version but unfortunately the new plastic they are using might be a step backwards. I've been playing multiple times a week outside during lockdown with another teammate. We have been playing on a relatively flat concrete surface. The original wrap around last anywhere from 2-5 sessions of skating. This new version broke into pieces in the middle of my second session.Concrete can be rough on products. This product will save your blade from wear and tear- however it comes at a price. Unfortunate though I think this may just be a symptom of having to play on concrete. This thing could last forever if you were playing on a surface like sports tiles.

Excellent Product!
I have a True A 4.5 SBP stick and I had no problems putting this on my blade. The instructions are very clear that after putting this product on, you have to tape your stick. I have never had an issue with it sliding off or anything. The first time I used this product it did feel a little different with stickhandling. Once I taped it down tighter I could not notice the difference in feel or weight.I use this for off ice practice. I put this over my existing tape and then tape over that. When I take this off, my original stick tape is still 100%.Definitely recommend this product!

Rugged outdoor training aide
This is one of the most beneficial products for outdoor hockey; I'm more comfortable using higher quality sticks on the street. The added weight on the stick isn't very noticeable after some practice but can be a factor after 2-3hrs (I don't imagine the average player does drills as long as that).I own 2 WrapArounds Black Ice, one of which has lasted over 3 months on asphalt and could last 3 more. Lots of stick handling, shooting, toe drags, on and off skates. Gets used 5hrs+ per week.I can give firsthand accounts that it fits True hockey TC3, Warrior-Yakupov and Bauer-Kane88 perfectly. However, curves with a small toe are trickier to tape i.e. Bauer-Toews14I tape heel-to-toe to cover the entire blade (some guys are minimalists).Highly recommend

Can't go wrong with the wraparound
Saves you tons of money by not ruining your expensive composite stick while playing or practicing off ice. Yes it's a bit pricey for a piece of plastic, but does the job so cannot complain.

Easy, reliable and money saving!
Using this for some time now this is my third wraparound. I train for about 6-10 hrs a week and it’s great that I’m not ruining my game twigs and don’t have to use a sub twig to train with.
