Works great in my Royal 4000S
I ditched the plastic, bagless vacuum with its gross filters and clear dirt receptacles and picked up a 30 year old Royal 4000S. These bags fit just like I remember (with a firm fit at the intake tube) and their filtration is excellent.

The bag feels thin and cheap. I think the other brands are more expensive but better quality. Depends how sensitive to dust you are. There are bags that feel like real cloth. They capture the dust better. And also, I had to trim the cardboard to fit into the housing.
