Love Love my bacon pressure. I had 1 already but needed a 2nd 1 . Have used it several times and have had good results with it makes cooking bacon, hamburgers and pork chops Cookeville and faster..Highly recommend it.

This is the second bacon press I have bought (for 2 difference residences) and love it. It is not too heavy and does a great job of weighing down curly bacon. This one seems easier to wash also. I just realized I can use it for split hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches.

Hooray! No more lingering over the stove as I fight grease splatter to flatten out my bacon! My Mom had a vintage one that I foolishly sold after her death. I’m so glad to have this one now! Hers was round, while I prefer square for bacon and “Wendy’s-type” burgers. It flattens that bacon right out whether it’s thick or thin sliced! The thickness of the press itself is just enough to flatten food without becoming a weightlifter in the process. I highly recommend following the initial seasoning steps to ensure food won’t stick (my bacon didn’t stick at all!) and that rust won’t readily set in. SO important after each use to wash it (it’s very easy to clean without much effort), to thoroughly dry it with a towel, then air dry for a bit, then coat with oil or a thin layer of lard before storing away. It’s so easy to use and to store, so daily use isn’t a headache. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn’t come with a stand or tray to sit it on to cool down.

Inexpensive, very useful kitchen press

This is great to cook bacon. It presses it down for a more uniform frying process. Plus it looks old. I suppose the design is.

If you want to fry up perfectly even bacon, this is the best thing ever! Speeds up cooking time as well since the entire surface area of the bacon is touching the pan. Also if you ever make sliders in a pan or a flat top, this is great for keeping them from cinching up. You can make your patties the exact size of your bun and they turn out perfect. Again because you are keeping the meat flat to the surface and thin, cooking time is cut in half. Treat it just like any other cast iron product - don't use harsh soap (no soap is better) and season it right after it's cleaned. My wife used it once and it was covered in rust the next day, so it took me some time to get it back to original shape.

Llegando la debes curar con aceite para que no se oxide. Es muy funcional para preparar tocino bien cocido, pero además lo uso para preparar sándwiches dorados en el comal, sincronizadas, y muchas otras cosas que se preparan en comal con pan o tortilla. su peso ayuda a dar forma a los sándwiches
