Powerful quiet quality extractor
Powerful, quiet , well made , value for money , Easy peasy to wire in -no earth required just Live Neutral A second switched live ( activated when you switch on light inside shower cubicle ) Mounted mine on some foam ( kids play-mat type that you clip together ) ,just cut it to size job done . Thoughtful touches included were spare plastic tensioners for the straps that hold it to the cradle (should they break in use ) A dedicated plastic timer adjuster that is like a small screwdriver I have taped these to the fan in a bag so they are never lost and handy if I ever need to adjust timer. Overall very impressed it’s powerful , very quiet and the timer run on after you have switched off can be adjusted from zero to around 30 mins . I’m using this in really cold weather and there is zero steam escaping the shower cubicle the bathroom mirror does not even steam up and it clears any very very quickly . I suggest attaching the hoses with aluminium tape as it’s solid seals very well and is weatherproof , used by HVAC pipes fitters it’s good stuff . Also 100% recommend from me .

Works really well
Brilliant, easy to install following instructions and works well, the mirrors used to be fully forged up with my old one and now don't show any fogging

Seems a good, economical fan.
Easy to install. Seems to work fine. Warranty registration a bit bothersome - it's on the Blauberg site (so this is a Blauberg fan, which I'd guessed) and requires the serial number which I can't find on the box or paperwork, so will have to climb into the attic again for it. Note that the noise level per the fan rating isn't what is shown on the Amazon listing (others have commented on this), but it seems quiet enough.

Great value item, works well, easy to fit.
Great item, simple to fit. I noted other comments about water ingress in to the motor and/or the connection box where the PCB is so added a little silicon sealant at the wire exit and entry points as simple to do and costs nothing. I have the unit hung and not screwed to a floor or truss so it doesn't create a potential vibration/noise, fan is quiet because it is outside of the room in the roof space unlike a ceiling fan. Time will tell on the ability to remove the shower room steam but so far it seems better than the previous ceiling fan, the vent I bought with it just replaced the original ceiling fan but I removed the plastic gauze from it so it doesn't get blocked with dust/fluff over time.

Replace that old Cessena in the wall with a Heath-Robinson duct design solution
Great fan unit. This is my second one of these and I've replaced all Expelair noisy contraptions with these quiet and well behaved in-line units. They're more powerful - you can feel the draft under the bathroom door - and have operated for years without showing overheating or sounding like having a Cessena stuck in your bathroom wall. Check out the fps ratings (cu ft per sec or farts per sec?) I think they're safer. Some of the cheaper wall units just use a large resistor in their circuits that can get hot and age - not good. These units don't have that issue. Don't forget to buy a multi-pole fan isolation switch, 3+1 mains cable , lots of pipe and fittings and make sure that its all fitted correctly - use a professional (electrician) if uncertain or illegal to DIY.

Low noise, Works well, Good features
Installed to remove steam from a shower. Best features are: Removable leaving all ducting in place, so great for future servicing/replacement. Quiet running. Integrated overrun timer. Dual speed. My experience: Works well and is fairly quiet though I mounted it onto a beam and sound is conducted to the house so I will remount onto a foam pad to silence it completely sometime. Sound is not intrusive though. There are some reviews mentioning water getting in to the electronics but it is down to how you mount the unit and the ducting you use. This time I mounted it vertically with minimum amount of ducting, venting to a vent tile in the roof. I would say avoid uninsulated ducting as you will get condensation inside which will lead to water ingress, especially in winter months. Keep the runs short as possible and with a slope so condensation cannot pool in the pipe. Better for any condensation to run back into the shower where it is already wet rather than anywhere else, though I see no water as the 30 minute overrun probably dries it all out. The low speed doesn't seem to be much slower but is a little quieter than full speed. To reduce noise especially for night time, I wired a relay into the unit so it runs full speed when the bathroom light is on then low speed for 30 mins when the light is turned off. Seems a good solution. You should definitely incorporate an isolation switch so all lines can be disconnected for servicing/replacement etc. Good product - would buy again.

Good fan for some ventillation
Installation - really easy. The big QR code on the fan takes you to a website with a youtube video. Two screws opens the top. Run a wire in. Neutral goes to N, Live goes to L, and then the switched live wire to LT for high speed. Read the manual. It's super easy. The chassis comes with two thumb clips which allow you to remove the body of the fan without disconnecting the duct. Great feature for cleaning. Noise level - With about 1.5 m of inlet ducting, it's noticeable at the inlet vent, but you can't hear it in the spare bedroom under the fan. It's good and quiet Value for money - This is hard to say. I bought it for only £35, so expectations should be low. Using a dryer hose with bends, kinks, and a long runs of duct seem to take a big toll on performance. I think it could be better for what I need (rapid removal of moisture directly above the shower), but it was only £35 and it works. It will stop mold from growing.
