Rubie's Thor: Ragnarok Adult Thor Costume

Bought for my husband’s Halloween costume. One of the wings were misshapen, and kind of smashed. We tried to straighten it out, but you could still tell, if you looked at it enough. Worked for a costume party, but was a little disappointing.

My review is for the standard size, which I measured and thought was the closest to my body type. The material is like thin spray painted foam for the upper portion and very thin jogging pants with foam boots. The chest region is rather large, but the shoe fitting over your own shoe is a very tight fit if you are shoe size 9 1/2. I tried 3 shoes, and only one pair I owned sort of fit (a slim Puma shoe). I had to use double sided tape to make sure it wasn't flopping around.I'm also going to recommend if you are a perfectionist, the top portion has very small Velcro straps -smaller than an inch- on the back that closes up the top portion of the costume. You could consider to sew on bigger straps, because while you might think the cape will cover it, if it unties and opens while you pose, it actually makes those shoulder muscles sag and make people question if those are muscles or a tumor. Also, the elbow portion of the gauntlets might need some Velcro support -they sort of hover weird.Overall I did receive compliments, but was not going to win an award like others did (nor did I expect to). I've included a picture of the costume sagging as I mentioned.

fairly nice for its price, good packaging too. Quality wise it isn't really that great but if you're gonna use this for display or cosplay either way is okay because this is the cheapest adult size Thor helmet you're gonna get unless you don't mind spending money for the stupendously expensive version made by Windlass Studios

So like many costumes, it isn't made of thin fabric. Once you get passed that it's pretty good. The XL fits me and I have a 52 in chest, so if you are big and tall you should be able to get this thing to work. Also when I bought this, it said it came with "head appliance." I'm glad to see they removed that on the description. This is only the pants, muscle shirt, and cape. The shoe covers are sewn onto the pants. I don't know why they are showing a long hair wig when Thor in the next movie gets a hair cut. You might be better off with the Thor helmet and red face paint if you want to rock the Ragnarok look.

This was a great helmet. I bought it for my wife to use cosplaying as Wigfrid, a character from the video game "Don't Starve." The helmet had enough space to use with a thick, curly wig (similar to the hair on the main character from Disney's "Brave") so the helmet was quite spacious. I mounted a plastic unicorn head on the helmet's spike with hot glue and it was sturdy enough to stay. The helmet also took spray-paint well and some metal buttons I glued onto the edges to simulate rivets held up well. The dark grey paint on the wings was a little unevenly applied, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall, I'm happy I bought this helmet. I saw it being sold at a convention for like $35 so it was a decent deal as well.

Came on time. I used the costume for a skit and worked out great. Length a bit longer than advertised but over all costume fit great. I am 6ft. 216lbs. Boot flaps are a bit short if you wear a size 10 or more boot or shoe, I wear a 10.5 to 11. I used double sided tape with velcro to remedy the issue otherwise boot flap will not cover boots or will flop up and down when walking. Costume was great though!!

Great costume, I am 6’1 and weigh roughly 260, avid weight lifter so I am pretty solid. The waist on these things are HUGE, and super long, I normally wear a 38 or 40 in the waist, I had to pull up nearly to my chest and wrapped a body wrap around to hold them up. As for the upper body I wear xl in normal shirts. This one fit perfect on the chest area, my arms were barely able to fit inside the sleeves as my arms are pretty big already but I new these would make them enormous and it worked out great.

Got it but without the blonde hair. I had to wear a wig underneath it.

Used this for a recent fancy dress - really well made and looks cool. You will need to buy the blonde wig, doesn't come with it but its fine. This is the original Thor from the comics so appeals to the older audience.Have fun!

Well this popped up as an add-on product and despite thinking it would never fit my head, I ordered it as I am slowly assembling a Thor costume. Pleasantly surprised. It is an official Marvel product, complete with package. Fits my 24" dome quick snugly (including my pretty solid mane of hair) and has not dug into my head anywhere during experimentation. A great value, I put this buy in my blatant steal pile.

Looks sensational! Exactly as pictured - classic Thor! Both the helmet & wings are made of durable plastic. The detailing is top drawer, with the feathers painted very realistically. I anticipated the helmet's fit to be somewhat larger (which it is) because it is made to fit a wig underneath. A+

i ordered the standard size I am 6 feet tall and it was big on meI was able to wear my jacket under it which worked out well as halloween was cold

Il costume da Thor è veramente bello; colori vivi e con imbottiture per rendere il super eroe in erba opportunamente muscoloso! La taglia XL è leggermente abbondante per un adulto alto 1,80cm e che porta una taglia XL. Peccato che non siano compresi il martello e la parrucca.
