If your wondering if these provide to much or too little light these are simple just Christmas lights with a fancy cover. I've had these on my deck on a timer for a few months now (summer in the Midwest)and haven't had any blow outs. My deck is covered so they are protected from the wearher. They provide enough ambient light for what I was looking for and I am satisfied with this product. They were kinda short but I do believe they were pretty detailedabout that in the description. No complaintsUpdateI initially just bought a couple of these, thought they were good for what I wanted. Over the course of 3-4 months I ended up eating a total of 10 sets.After about 2 years? or so half of the sets of lights quit working. I'm assuming because 1 bulb went out. My deck is covered and even when there is blowing rain or snow these wouldn't get wet because they are high up and protected by beams. Also about 6-7 of the lantern decorations just fell off. Again, these were protected from the wind, rain, and snow.

These little lights are just perfect for creating an inviting ambiance. They throw off that perfect, warm glow light and create dramatic and interesting shadows with their mesh lantern designs. I think they're perfect, and for the price, you really can't beat them. My one concern when I purchased them was the potential for the bulbs to generate too much heat, as they are not LED (hard to find that "perfect warm glow" with LED), but after having them up for a month now, I can confidently say that they don't generate any noticeable heat.

The product is nice but box picture that is shown states it comes with 6 replacement bulbs and my two sets only came with 2 replacement bulbs in each box. I just threw away a similar set of lights because of the difficulty it is to get the bulbs replaced so I'm just crossing my fingers that doesn't happen with these sets.

10 lights to a strand. Electrical wire is green and the lanterns are what feel likes aluminum painted as an aged copper. The lanterns themselves are great and the strands will stretch out over time, so you will need to adjust them. I installed flower pot hooks in alternating sequence for my desired look. I stranded 7 of them together and they do not short circuit. If a strand goes out, electricity will still travel through it into the next one. I bought 8 of them, but did have one come that did not work.They come in a clear plastic container inside of an amazon box. I would suggest measuring out the distance you plan to use lights first.Also, keep in mind with the lanterns, that they don’t have a base, so bugs and spider webs will make homes in them. I just use a light flame and burn the webs.

I am completely satisfied with the product. Using for decorative lighting, when no other lights are on. The lights let off a soft glow, and are very pleasing to the eye. Not too bright. Perfect length for hanging over a window or to use as a substitute for plug in nightlights.

they are smaller then they look. The light is extremely bright. When the lights are on, it basically looks like a string of white lights. I thought they would be more subdued.

Each light is real metal, very sturdy despite the structure looking like a net. It'll bend if you squeeze it hard enough, but these have survived whacks against the railing during wind just fine. Bulbs too! If near fabric, doesn't produce enough heat to be of concern. The lantern piece helps it vent pretty well. Would definitely buy again.

8 out of 10 not working at all less than a year later. Terrible quality. Whole strand is out and changing fuses didnt help and neither did fixing each bulb. And mine are under a roof so don't get any rain or snow on them either
