Cute!
We love her books! This one is super cute. I like that the pages are thick and it’s easy to read to my 2 year old.

One of our favorites
I love this book. It was one of my son’s favorites and I bought this one to give to my niece at her baby shower. All of the Boynton books are fantastic. You can’t go wrong!

Cute, catchy and fun! This is now one of our favorite books to read.
We have a large collection of Boynton books and love nearly all of them. I got this one for my nearly 2 year old for Christmas and now it's one of his favorites (and mine too). It is all around excellent. I can actually say I enjoy reading it, it makes me happy. I have books that he reaches for that I don't enjoy reading as much (The Belly Button book being one of them), but this one I gladly read over and over. The book is a cute opposites book. The book rhymes perfectly and has very good flow. It like has it's own tempo that makes it rhythmic to read. The pictures are adorable. My son is very into dinosaurs right now and LOVES the fun dino pictures. This book is absolutely perfect!

Cute Book with One Big Flaw
I bought this book to add some variety to my three year old son's bedtime book collection. At this point, I am looking for books that aren't too long or too complicated before bedtime and will hold and engage my son's interest, hopefully leading to questions for him so he gets used to exploring the world around him. This book fit that bill. It's a handful of pages long with short and simple rhymes so that Mom or Dad doesn't have to spend a half hour reading before bed. The pages have soft pastel colors and cute drawings of all kinds of dinosaurs. The rhymes are short and sweet--most pages focus on opposites: "Dinosaurs weak. Dinosaurs strong."The only reason I deducted a star is because one of those differences set up a really unfair comparison of looks, which is the opposite of how I'm striving to teach my son to be kind. "Dinosaurs cute, and dinosaurs not" with a picture of some "ugly" warty dinosaurs. Thankfully, my 3 year old said immediately, "Those dinosaurs are cute. I love those dinosaurs." I'm not sensitive about a lot of stuff, but I don't want my son to ever feel bad if he grows up to have looks contrary to the "norm" or to make others feel bad, so avoid or modify that page if that's something you're teaching your kids.

Sandra Boynton's books are genius!!
I bought this for extended family. I had purchased this and other books by this author for my girls. Now that they are grown, I saw them and wanted to have them in my home for my family. They are fun, rhyme and the little ones love them. I read them to the kids all the time.
