Time Release is better.
Prolonged release or time release is a good thing for many vitamins. It's getting the C over a space of a few hours vs getting all 500mg all at once and pissing it out before you can absorb it.I've been buying this brand for years and C is a good anti-oxident in general, not just for colds or cold season.

Quality product, good price point.
Extended release Vitamin C is the only way to go. Your body can only absorb so much at a time, and I don't need to waste money. Consistently high quality at a competitive price. I will buy again!

Nothing wrong with them I just couldn't handle 500mg they gave me migraines so I had to stop taking them. The company is great, easy to swallow, value for the money and a nice size.

I like this brand & needed more Vitamin C so ordered them straight away. Then I read the reviews & people who obviously didn't read the product page NORthe bottle when it arrived, wrote reviews about the bad flavor & didn't dissolve like other Vit. C ! NOWHERE ON THE PAGE OR THE BOTTLE does it say Chewable! It says "Take 1 tablet with a meal". They are a pale peach color & are smooth and hard. READ THE LABEL FOLKS!These are very good vitamins at a very good price!

Easy to swallow.
These are terrific. Very easy to swallow with no yucky aftertaste. I used to take oblong larger ones that tasted horrible and were hard to swallow. I will definitely be buying these in the future. Thanks Amazon

only complaint is it gives little burning sensation in the stomach is taken first thing in the morning before food [as some expert suggests] i think best idea is too to take after breakfast
