Because I hate having to wear hard hats I searched for the most comfortable one made. I've worn about 20Different kinds. All of which are found at the big box stores. They are all torture devices that make me wantTo find a new occupation. However looking for the five star hard hat I found this one. $61 vs the dirt cheapOne made me not do the fast click but after thinking about it for awhile I decided to click in and get one.This was a great decision. This hard hat is far more comfortable than the others. I should have bought one yearsAgo. I also like retro look. If you are an electrical worker you won't want this because of it being metallic.But for the rest of us it is the cream of the crop. American made also.

I hate to be the first one to not give a five star review, but my hard hat arrived with two very noticeable dents in it, which to me is unacceptable when I ordered a new item that cost over $70. Other than the dents, it's definitely more aesthetically pleasing than any other hard hat I've owned. But the dents that it came with made me wonder--if it dents this easily, then every time I knock my head on a pipe or piece of structural steel at the power plant it's likely to create more dents. I decided I can live with scuffs and scratches on a cheap plastic hard hat more than I can live with dents on a hard hat I paid $70 for. So I decided to return my Skull Bucket.

Ok I’m not he type of person to exaggerate.I’m straight to the point so here it is. The only bad thing about this hat is when something hits it it’s got a bit of klang/ ring/ symbol sound but when you have ear plugs all day it’s not that big of a deal. I’ve had fibermetal, cheapo, and the true carbon fiber hard hats. This aluminum Hardhat is the lightest one yet. At least that’s how it feels I think it’s actually lighter too. The suspension system is comfortable and the hat is cool to the touch even when it’s been in the sun for hours. Stickers adhere well and I think I can add vent holes without anyone noticing.... even though that will void warranty.I where a hardhat for 8 hours a day so comfort and weight are important! I’m also the type that keeps left and right socks so yeah it’s a good hat.

The hard hat itself is nice quality. The problem is the ratchet suspension part of the helmet. It is very cheap quality and it needs to be as good quality as the hat. It feels cheap, the ratchet wheel stripped as soon as I put any pressure on it to tighten. I've always used MSA fast track suspensions and they are much better quality. I'm fairly disappointed with this. Such a nice helmet but ruined with a bad suspension system. Come on skull bucket.

Great hard hat. I am a retired wildland firefighter and this is perfect for tree triming and working in the woods around my house. Lasts longer than plastic. Won't melt and is cooler than plastic.

Lightweight, looks good, incredibly comfortable, blocks sun. My kid even likes it -- hence the picture. Comes with a chinstrap, but can be stored in the helmet. 100 percent would recommend, I even am thinking of getting one in another color for my company, but the aluminum is classic!

The best hardhat I've ever worn. Incredibly lightweight and stayed cool, strangely even cold at times in the relentless New Mexico high desert sun. I was complimented daily on my unique hat and was asked by everyone on site where to get one for themselves. Unfortunately the army corps of engineers does not let their employees and/or contractors to wear these. Truly discouraging to wear anything else.

Very best hard hat I have used. Very cool compared to plastic.
