Wow these knives are good
These knives look amazing, but more importantly really cut through everything with great ease. I love them

Great knife
Really well constructed, holds an edge like no other knife, I'm very happy with it. Only downfall is that it is very large. But a good product nonetheless.

Defective.
It's damascus steel, and seems to be a pretty decent knife, but the one that I received was not etched. It has no contrast and the variations in the metal can only be seen by holding it at the right angle in the light. Not acceptable. I know how to treat the metal to bring the pattern out, but this isn't a DIY kit and certainly didn't come with the proper chemicals.

Extremely sharp
This arrived in a well-padded box that stays closed with a magnet. It has a sheath and the knife is heavier weight, but comfortable to hold. When I received it and began using it, it was razor sharp and sliced through everything like nothing I have ever used. I even accidentally touched a tiny portion of the blade and paper thin piece of skin was removed, didn't hurt or cause injury but I was just surprised.I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and I noticed the blade is a lot less sharp, I have to research how or where to get this sharpened but it seems like it got less sharp rather quickly.

Good quality bargain
For the price, this is a good knife, but it's not a substitute for a high-quality chef's knife.I really like the weight and the balance is excellent. The handle fits my hand perfectly, and it requires very little pressure to cut, which is so nice. The blade is not as sharp as I would like. The reason this is $82 and not $200 is because of the blade. It's good, but if you want the sort of sharpness that makes things fall apart when you wave it nearby, you're going to need to spend at least twice this.I'm going to rate it four stars because the description makes it sound like it rivals a more expensive knife, which it doesn't. I'd say it's worth exactly what you spend on it - much better than a Target knife, not as good as a chef's knife.
