KMC HL710L Bicycle Chain

Not a bad alternative choice to more expensive shadow conspiracy chains. I was able to easily adjust size with a cheap chain breaker although I didn’t care for the hollow pins. As for durability I’ll mostly be using for freestyle and flatland tricks on my BMX, should hold up just fine.

This was a huge pain in the butt to take apart and size it correctly. It does look good and fit good. Lots of room for improvement. Either get a different chain next time or a normal chain. It also snapped after a month of regular use. The rollers are really loose making the chain make lots of clinking noises. Even when the chain is properly tightened. Really crappy chain for the price.

I bought this chain to prove my friends wrong, because i had 5 friends that had chains from KMC and they noted to me that all of there's has broken in the past and that they're not strong chains. Today i was riding (Note: I've only had the chain for 1 month) and it snapped mid stroke of me pedaling, luckily i was only 1 mile or so from home and was able to scooter myself home, but for had this happen on one my usual routes, 10 miles+ from home it would've been living hell to find my way back home.

Really was looking forward to having this chain to dine tune my tension but didn't get much use out of it. Day 2 of riding and the chain snapped I do not recommend.

I like kmc chains, I have owned several. Good quality for the price. The hollow pins lighten the weight of the chain, but makes the chain a little less durable.

So far this chain is exactly what I hoped for. After a little bit of initial stretch, and readjusting my rear wheel there is zero play in my fixie's drivetrain.

The chain came stained from the grease used in packing. It wouldn’t come off so it just made it look dingy and yucky. Returned it.

This chain came like it was use or just set in the Warehouse for 30 years. I order a white chain. It came Greasy oily and Stanley. No even white looks brown

I bought these after my bike came with a warped chain. Since they're the exact same model I decided to go with black, and so far it seems to be holding up. As far as strength goes these half links aren't half bad, the same can be said with aesthetics. Though, since the chain is painted, you will find the paint quickly worn off around contact points (cogs, chainring) but it is hardly noticeable. This does mean that you would have to clean your chain much more often during the initial break-in period. The chain uses a rivet pin, and is recommended to be replaced once it reach 1 percent worn. Regardless, for 30 bucks it is well worth the price.

the chain looks sick and the black color is even cooler because it hides the dirt and grime from being viable which gives style points. 10/10 awesome, sick!!!

The chain looks great but broke after only a week of use and wasn’t even putting it under that much stress. Wouldn’t recommend...
