Rules Of Engagement - Season 6

First, let me state that I hate streaming services. I get tired of a show we like suddenly disappearing. I don't want my entertainment to be constrained by corporate contract jockeying. We are very happy to buy the DVDs and support the shows we like, but we want to watch it the way we want to watch it. So one of the first things I do with every DVD or BluRay I buy is rip it and put it on Plex for our ease of watching.Upon receiving these discs, things appeared fine, the packaging looked legit. But looking at the discs, they appear to be purple DVD-Rs. The first disc won't even play in the Xbox One. It goes to the menu, and choosing an episode causes the Xbox to lock up. Putting it the DVD drive on my PC and attempting to play it through VLC does work, but it doesn't display the menu, it just goes straight into the "Play All" mode. Loading the disc in MakeMKV gives me an error stating that it appears that the disc was written using DVDFab/MacTheRipper.So essentially, these discs are garbage that don't play correctly in standard players, and can't be ripped for watching offline. Terrible.

Beware! Terrible quality. This seems to be a made-at-home dvd. Disc 1 had all of the episodes out of order and you could not choose a certain episode to play. Had to eject every time to get a menu of any kind, then no matter what you chose it would start from the beginning (which was the 3rd or 4th actual episode in the season). Disc 2 was out of order but you could choose the episode. Returned for a refund. Not worth it

Product will not play in my DVD player. Total waste of money. I have every season, and I can't finish the series because it will not play.

Bootleg dvd, not even all episodes on the discs. Garbage, I want my money back and damages paid. I have to drive the return to the post office, how do I get that time back? Pitiful. Don’t buy from these hacks. I hope you get sick.

If you've never watched Rules of Engagement, do yourself a favor and binge watch it. It ran a total of 7 seasons. Seasons 1 and 2 are pretty good, but it really gets going in Season 3 when they add a new character to the show - Russell's assistant Timmy. Seasons 3 through 7 are some of the funniest television ever made.

We love this show, and its great to be able to buy the seasons at a reasonable price, but it looks like they got cheap, lazy, or both - not bothering to include subtitles! We rely on those to watch TV quietly while the little one is sleeping. Also there is no episode list anywhere on the packaging which means you can't quickly check which disc you want to watch. This seems like another lazy omission. Not happy about that.

I got hooked on this show when it was on Netflix. I just wish the price point was a little lower.
