Pool Protector - Inground Pool Alarm

Works great. Every pool needs one, especially if you have young children. The unit outside has an alarm that will wake the neighbors and the remote unit in the house is louder then our alarm system. Heavy Wind does set it off, gets your heart racing but worth it knowing you will definitely know if something or someone falls in. Gave it four stars because the screws they provided barely hold it to the concrete. I used they correct size drill bit and set the anchors. The screws do not grab deep enough. Use blue tap cons instead and you will be fine.

Can't review it until I buy 8 D size batteries...Wow!!

Bought a new house with a poolJust got it messed around with it this morning had to buy D batteries then needed those little screwdrivers for little screws for battery big hassle.. but I got them used 2 sided tape to stick to concrete tested it set alarm went about my dayTonight I have a screened in pool that my cats sit around well watching tv all the sudden alarm blaring I run out I think my dog knocked in the cat she was in the poolOh my god I don't know what I would have done this workedCat makes so much waves the alarm just fired right offDefinitely worth the effort cost time if you have a pool and pets

I REALLY wanted this to be a good buy. But, it's garbage. I did a lot of research on pool entry alarms for inground pools, and most have mediocre reviews at best. I gave this alarm a shot because it has the features I want and the reviews were inconclusive, so I tried it myself. Even though the shipping box was completely undamaged, as was the product box inside, the product itself arrived shattered. The plastic pieces that hold the top/bottom of the main part of the unit had broken, so the thing had literally fallen apart in transit. Amazon overnighted me another one. It had exactly the same issue. I inspected it more closely this time and found that this is a really poorly/cheaply made unit. I unfortunately didn't even get to put it on the pool to see how it works as an alarm, but based on the quality I'm returning it and going elsewhere.

Easy to work. Very sensitive. When in swim mode, will auto reset to monitoring when no water movement for 100 seconds. I love this feature. No chance of forgetting to reset the alarm. We needed to turn it off one night during a windy storm. Other than that it has been perfect. Does not look like this picture. Looks better. pictures added at request of customer. Please note that pool does not yet have concrete, so alarm is supports by wood. It will sit on concrete when completed.

We bought the alarm 1 year ago April. We got it to protect not our children just in case they fall in the pool. We didn’t start using it till this past May and 1 month later it’s not working. I am past the time of returning and for the money that I spent on it I was hoping it would last more then 1 month.
