Jla by Grant Morrison Omnibus Hardcover – November 17, 2020

Really incredible storytelling.

This book arrived quickly and well packaged with no damage to the spine, the pages, or the covers of the hardcover. A great experience and much appreciated item.

I have been waiting to get my hands on this Omnibus and it was worth the wait. This is every JLA story written by Grant Morrison unless I am mistaken. The binding is very good, little gutter loss, a massive book. If you have never read this particular run just know it is the inspiration for the JL Animated series. Highly recommended.

This omnibus is huge. Love the art & there are a lot of good stories in here that I had never read. Packaging left something to be desired. This big book was delivered in a simple bubble wrap package. I was very surprised it wasn’t destroyed.

I liked most of the stories but a few were lengthy and confusing at times as it seemed to jump all over the place. The art work though was great.

I really love this omnibus as it contained over 1500 pages of goodness. I liked the Howard Porter's art but some of the stories were kind of meh. I like the fact that I can read most of Grant Morrison's JLA run all in one session. As much as I like this omnibus for the amount of content included, there are also much left off. First is the DC 1,000,000 crossover. It contained only issues written by Grant Morrison. DC did publish all the DC 1,000,000 issues in a separate omnibus. The confusing thing is I felt DC should have left these issues out and reference the readers to the DC 1,000,000 omnibus. As it is, the issues related to this cross over is choppy and does not flow well. Others have criticized that this omnibus is not truly an omnibus since it left out issues not written by Morrison. To be fair, the title of this omnibus is JLA by Grant Morrison Omnibus and it is explicitly stated that this omnibus only contained the Morrison written issues. Would have been a great omnibus if it left off the DC 1,000,000 issues and included issues written by other writers to make it a complete JLA run.
