I bought this book for my 8 yr old son to read. He missed the deadline for his book order with his school so i decided to order from here. Funny thing he got his book weeks before his classmates and finished reading it as well. He loved the story and told me he finished it quickly. I also like to make him talk about the books he read and describe the characters and the story. He asked me to get him another one.

You won't want to put this down until the very last page because of the adventure that will make you crave more. :)

Reading with my children at the ages of the characters. Second time around is just as exciting as the first. I often read on after the kids fall asleep! Started this series because of one book at the scholastic book fair. Now it is family tradition.

I just started reading this book series about a week ago. So far I have really enjoyed reading all the books. It's a fairly easy read for kids in 4th-6th grade. The characters are easy to relate to and the plot moves quickly. The author does a great job of conveying the urgency and excitement of the plot through the characters. There is a crazy plot twist towards the end of the book that makes you wish the next installment was out already. I can't wait to see what happens next!

This series just continues to get better. The story keeps evolving and some of the themes are starting to pick up a more adult tone and not swaying from the violence. Sure the main character still puts everyone in danger over his mom and that can be nerve racking, but the overall story is getting great. The cliffhanger to this one has me wishing the fourth book was already out.

Book 3 and the other four books all arrived in time for my grandson's birthday and was just what he wanted! :) Thank you.
