Fine ModWood Leg Dining Side Chair

We've ordered two sets of these chairs. The first set arrived intact, all fittings included. The second set arrived in good order, but without a set of screws for the second chair. It was easier to go into the garage to find four of the same sized screws to replace them, than to wait for the supplier to send them to me.Not everyone would be lucky enough to have the right sized screws laying around. Which means waiting for them to arrive before putting the chairs together. More care should be taken when shipping them.

I originally would have rated this higher, but after using it I have to admit that it is not comfortable to sit in for any length of time. I had a heck of a time assembling it because I am not used to assembling furniture and there are no directions. The correct order, I think, is leg assembly, washer and lock washer on top of that. Run the screw through all and tighten. Guess I don't have it tight enough, as it squeaks every time I sit down.Great looking chair, though. Sigh.

We bought these for our conference room to replace some temporary folding chairs. We liked the look of these and they go well with our office. Warning that the office and especially the room they were unpacked in smelled strongly like plastic gas for a couple days when they were opened and assembled. Do it in a room that can open windows.We bought six chairs, but only five had the proper parts to assemble them (screw on the legs). The company did try to send replacement parts but they sent us the parts for a different model of chair, so we had to go and buy our own parts.Anyway, the chairs are strong and nice. We like.

The chair has the perfect mid-mod aesthetic, though it was tricky to assemble and arrived without instructions. Also, there were grimy handprints visible on the white plastic from handing during packing, and a thorough scrubbing was necessary to bring it up to snuff.

Wtf - chair looks great but didn't come with the screws and I've gone back and forth between home depot twice trying to find the right one. It's not 5/16 nor 1/4 - don't know what the hell it can be. Anyone else come across this problem and know what size scew they used?

Seller made right on original order. When chairs finally arrived they were of good quality and matched the website description. Would purchase this again.

Very easy to put together but is uneven so I had to add a felt pad to one of the legs in order to make it not wobble. It looks great with my new desk.

Perfect desk chair, perfect price. I wanted an Eames style chair, and this is great. Built in a short time. Only downside, no instructions included, so had to do a lot of web search for building. Wasn't clear to me, but others might have been able to put together no problem. Overall, great, and get a lot of compliments. Worth it.
