Works great so far…
Firstly, I’m partial to this brand. This is my third silk-epil in about 40 years (my first one was when there wasn’t many of these gadgets on market), so for me it’s a long-tracking brand. Only had it for a couple months, but used it a few times already. It replaced my much older corded dual power Braun epilator I had for at least 15 years! that died suddenly making awful rattling noises. I was wary of cordless cause recharging batteries eventually wear out. But there aren’t many corded valuable options out there: this was a good choice all considered. Here’s the pros (mostly pros so far tbh): -Fairly easy to hold and maneuver. -It works well on dry skin, I have not tried wet. I use it after showering so my skin is clean. Will epilate short and longer hair like my previous one, using two speeds. -Has a light, which for me it’s a huge plus, cause it means I can sit down more comfortably, and not need to have a flashlight shine to see any lighter color or thinner hair (also my sight isn’t getting any better after 50, so…), or going by “touch and feel” to make sure I am thorough. -Will do well on underarms too, no issues there, no pinching, smooth skin. So far no ingrown hair either. -Mine comes with couple of adapters. I wish I had gotten one with a smaller one, so I could do small areas like upper lip or brows as needed instead of waxing, but that’s okay (that’s what waxing of tweezers are for). -Has a shaving head I’ve not used yet, though I don’t think I’m going to either. -Cleans easy with its brush. I guess you can also wash it as it’s wet/dry use, not dove that yet. -Battery actually lasted quite a bit with first charge, and will beep lightly when you use it on low charge so you’ll know. Will also have yellow light to warn of charge needed. -Does not overheat with prolonged use, so you can do legs and underarms at the same time without requiring an in between “rest”. Maybe worked a good 30-40 minutes. I think the total work time (over several days) with full charge was at least 3-4 hours before needing to recharge it, so that’s s real plus! -Hair will take a lot longer to regrow when epilating, than shaving, and your skin will not be bumpy or stubby the next day. No change in skin color like when you wax either. Cons: -Just like any other epilator, it isn’t pleasant to epilate, but it’s definitely better than waxing and less messy, especially if you do it at home. -I don’t like the dial turn on, I’d have rather had a push up/down switch. Not sure why it’s a dial? It’s not super practical, but it does function fairly easy. -Not sure the curved head is an improvement, I don’t see much of a difference from the straight head of my old one, but it is easy enough to hold. -The bag it comes with is like a think plastic “satchel”. I kept my older one which is a rigid bag with zipper and mesh, so it’s more functional to take with if you travel, as well as have it set in a drawer and just pull out the shaver without having to pick up the whole thing to open. Overall though, not many cons to this; it’s pretty nice. My only regret is not buying the one that also had the smaller adapter, so I could do small areas like lip etc. the adapter with the rolls actually helps with sensitive areas, but it still has a wider path. I still prefer waxing for bikini area, but that’s because it’s “faster” (one and done) imho. My two cents…I’ve always preferred epilating to shaving, as all you pull is the hair not the skin, and no scraping like with a razor. Also no buying supplies all the time. I would recommend it, after only a month it two of using, but also based on faithful years with this brand.

It's a BIG DEAL if I'm writing a review
(Just for reference, I am a 28 year old woman with fair skin and blonde/light brown body hair) I'd be doing everybody a disservice if I didn't express how absolutely LIFE CHANGING this device is. I bought this 2 weeks ago and have barely seen any hair growth since. I had used an epilator years ago and was terrified at the thought of using one again. It feels exactly how you'd think each hair being tweezed out of your skin all at once would feel. I could say my pain tolerance is higher than average. The initial reaction you have to it WILL go away and it will get more comfortable as you use it. For the first 4-ish days, I used it everyday, that's how addictive it is. Also, each hair follicle grows differently, so I tried to get as many missed hairs as I could. I used it on stubble that was about 1/8 inch long. Yes, it hurts, but after the first round you do, its practically painless. It feels good sometimes which was definitely the biggest plot twist for me. The more you do it, the easier it gets. I promise. I never did well with bikini/brazilian waxes. That is pain like none other. Like I said, I have a pretty high pain tolerance. If you're planning on using it for your bikini area, brazilian, or even armpits (areas with a course-er hair), listen up. TAKE. A FEW HITS. BEFORE THE FIRST TIME YOU TRY IT. I literally had to get high to get myself into a mindset where I won't think too much about it. Slowly but surely, I did the full brazilian and it was not as bad as you may think. *If you're doing anything down there, use it with the grain first, then gradually move diagonally until its going against the grain. This leaves the least amount of hair to be removed against the grain, which causes the most pain* A big tip I can give everyone is to use it in every way your hair could possibly grow. I personally go against the grain, with the grain, side to side, and even diagonal on any area I use it on. Pros: No shaving = no bumps and no burning. Haven't noticed any ingrowns Rechargeable and holds a charge for a long time Small, which is perfect if you don't have much space like I do Easy to clean- comes with a small brush to clean the head out Can be used wet OR dry (I use it dry which means I don't need to be in the shower for a long time) Cons: Painful for a lot of people Skin is left a little red for a few hours after That I haven't used this before To summarize, it is worth the price. I recc. to anyone who have had bad waxing or shaving experiences. I also recc. to the other people who have fallen victim to IPL-machines. You'll see more effective results after just a few uses of this epilator than you will with any at-home "permanent" hair removal method. I wish I bought this sooner. Do not be scared to try it! Like I said, I very rarely ever take time to write a real review of an impulse purchase. I promise if you're on the fence, just try it out.

Far superior to shaving. I’m converted.
Works exactly as intended, very efficient. Gets every single hair that’s long enough to catch. I can’t believe I’ve been shaving every day for 20 years when this method existed. It’s so much better in every way. You get the lasting results of waxing but with many more benefits. It’s cheap, as in FREE every time you use it, (once you buy it.) It’s so easy to use anywhere anytime- in my camping tent with minimal lighting, while watching tv, in the car (as a passenger). No more wasting money on razors and shaving cream. No shower mess. No nicks and cuts. So nice!! As all the reviews say, IT IS PAINFUL the first couple times. Like waxing in slow motion. But you do get used to it and I kind of like it now. It’s such a satisfying feeling in a strange way.

Fast, easy, and less clean up than waxing
First emulator and it does hurt - feels like really bad electric shocks PLUS get bumps that I have to nurse to prevent infection scarring, and pimples! PROS: A) easy to use and removes hair pretty quickly DUE to big head B) Effect last a long time on some body parts - it not face C) easy to use D) fast charge & love that it`s green that way and I'm not wasting batteries BOTH in money & landfill space! E) cheaper than waxing! Don't need any other supplies besides rubbing alcohol to disinfect machine & face! CONS: A) painful! OMG! It`s like getting shocked HARD every few seconds! B) sometimes breaks longer hairs rather than removes! C) loud! I imagined myself watching tv with hubby while doing my legs - NOPE! D) speaking of legs- AFTER SEEING so many women with infections, I do not see this item as MULTI-USE OR MULTI-AREA USE! 1) I won't use as a shaved because it's the same rotating wires and I don't want to contaminate with sweaty leg skin particles that can infect my face and cause permanent scarring. 2) TOO EXPENSIVE AS I ONLY use JUST the epilator part and ONLY on ky face as using on multi-areas RISKS cross-contamination! I see this as face tool or a body tool. Even though it's expensive, I would b7y a 2nd one for legs & underarms, but I will not risk cross-contamination of my face to save money! * If you think that's a personal choice and I should just use alcohol to clean, Google epilady/epilators & scarring or infections! It's awful how many women (and men) have been scarred because a little bit of bacteria from a sweaty body part did not get fully dis-infected and contaminated their open, newly-abused epilated pores! E) harder to clean than I thought as longer hairs get caught in wires and need to be coaxed out! F) cannot use immediately before going somewhere, taking pictures, etc: SURPRIZED how many & HOW LONG epilators pimples last! Hubby got cared the first time he saw my face! "What did you do to yourself" G) VERY PORTABLE - Easy to travel with! Just take machine and plug! (Waxer needs to be very well covered so spilled wax does not get onto things PLUS big and bulky PLUS you need a lot of supplies: different-sized strips, different wooden sized sticks to apply, different pre/post lotions/oils to sooth skin, remove wax, etc. CONCLUSION: NICE product that works but shouldn't be sold as multi-area product let alone multi-use device; such as: epilaltor & shaved in one! Too loud to use with loved one you trust with your hair removal secrets, let alone, discretely use. Wish a little cheaper since all their option of "multi-use" aren't safe if you dont want bacteria from your underarms to cause breakouts and possible permanent scarring to your face! TIP: Alcohol swipped on all areas to be epilated & epilators itself BEFORE USE combined with ICE-COLD COMPRESS on face AFTER USE really helps sooth skin & prevent epilated pimples & broken skin from getting infected or having those huge post-epilated pimples last for more than a few hours! Epilator VS Waxing: Epilators hurts more BOTH during use and for about 2 hours afterwards as inflamed, pimply skin calms down! It takes longer to use as it requires more swipes, which also, damages skin more. Do Not be surprised to see small drops of blood from ripped out hair! But you can just pop epilators & plug in sandwich-sized ziplock bag & shove into any suitcase! Waxing is faster to do but takes much longer to clean up & is sticky! Your skin may be sensitive, but I`'ve never had whole areas break out! Maybe a part that needed an 2nd waxing got irrated, but never the whole area I was waxing. Is quieter but takes up a lot of space: counter/floor to hold waxer, strips to use & throw out, drippy wax container, etc! Also, is more expensive since you only need epilators but waxing needs strips, application sticks, soothing oils, etc! Also, I feel waxing is less painful as you feel area being striped while epilation makes it feel like each hair is getting ripped out! But new to this, and maybe as I practise, this pain will go away!

Love the epilator ( unecessary attachments )
First time epilator user and I AM A FAN! I was growing frustrated with shaving my legs because it felt like within 2 days I had a 5'oclock shadow.. but I wasn't patient or skill enough to wax my legs (I can only wax my underarms and brows) ... I kept reading Braun was a great brand for epilators so I gave it a shot and Holy Moly, this was a game changer. It was basically like waxing but much cleaner and faster. My legs were SO soft and smooth FOR WEEKS I loved it.. I dont use the device all the time , but even when i put it away and didn't use it for a few months I was very relieved and pleased to see it still worked. ( cheap products in general tend to die out within a few months so if you don't use it during those first few months you come back to find it dead. but that hasnt been the case with this. Its been a year and it still works! I will note... there is a point where the hair becomes too thin for the epilator to be as effective (certainly not a bad problem to have lol ) it starts to tear the hair as though your shaving rather than pulling it from the root, giving a patchy end result, at which point you either go back to shaving for a bit or wax. I WISH they made smaller devices for the bikini line because this one is too large to use properly/effectively in that area.. the curves between your leg and public bones make it difficult to maneuver the device. i can only really get to the upper part of my thigh any farther and you can't keep a clean line I didn't think it was necessary to knock any stars off for this but did want to add that the attachments are useless IMO ....You get a better shave with a single blade safety razor. Not sure how much that would effect the price if they did away with that.. nevertheless! This is a great device for epilating that I would definitely recommend! *update* Took some finessing but I figured out how to do the bikini area! (way better than my first attempt). love it

It’s an adventure
I started on this epilator journey several months ago. The main reason for the journey is that I was going to a five day music festival, where I would be camping and wearing very little clothing for the world to see all my most secret parts. One night I was in nothing but pasties, a thong, and a mesh dress. I did not want to be worried with shaving and hair maintenance everyday. I have dark, thick, course hair. Shaving everyday also irritates my skin. I had considered waxing, but that’s very expensive and I couldn’t do any maintenance myself. I did end up at the waxer for one area which I will explain later. One thing I did before starting this journey was I also stocked up on lidocaine cream. Before my first round on any area, I put on lidocaine and let it sit for 40min to an hour. The extra time does make a difference. The first epilation is the most painful, so I wanted to help it a little. That being said, it still hurts, and I have a high pain tolerance. If you are a wussy, not sure anything will help. Legs: I started on my legs. And by I, I mean I made my husband start on my legs. I didn’t do any area on my own the first time. You can’t psych yourself out if someone else does it. Anyway, it hurt, but not unbearable. I did several rounds over the next several days to get any stray hair. After the initial run, it is not at all painful. It only hurts the closer you get on the upper thigh to your lady parts. The nice thing is, once the hair starts to grow back, it comes in at different times, so it’s never like the first time where you are doing a ton of hair at once. I epilate my legs about once a week. You will have to shave any of the baby hairs that the epilator can’t get, but I just do that after I epilate. It’s only my upper thighs that get the baby hairs. I also do it all myself now which my husband is grateful for. Armpits: Holy mother of sweet baby Jesus. I would rather give birth again than epilate my armpits for the first time. Even with lidocaine, it was awful. I had to have my husband help with several rounds over several days. I stuck it out after how much I enjoyed my legs, though. The not having to worry about it everyday, the lack of itching from regrowth, and it’s better for your skin than waxing, all made me want to tough it out. I am so glad I did. Like my legs, I just check for an regrowth about once a week and take care of it. There is only minor pain. Like plucking your eyebrows. The Vag: Nope. Just nope. So, I lidocained for an hour, and then I had my husband start on the area near my c-section scar since I am pretty numb there, anyway. He got about three hairs and I said NOPE. We were only a few days away from our trip by the time I decided to make my way to that area. I made a waxing appointment, which obviously still hurts, but it’s a different beast. BUT, from there I have been able to maintain the regrowth on my bikini area and upper vag area. It is like the armpits where it stings but not like being stabbed with a million knives like the first time. The area nearer the taco and the taco meat is still a nope. Plus it is hard to get in the tighter spaces and kind of gross too. I go every six weeks for a butt strip wax and have them do the areas I can’t get. I shave in between those if needed. Again, it is all worth it for no itchiness/skin irritation and how long I can go without stressing it. My husband repeatedly talks about how much he loves the smoothness. I maintain the bikini and upper area probably once a week, sometimes I ignore it for two weeks. Pros: No itching from regrowth No skin irritation - you may get little red bumps but they go away within a few hours. Maintenance is infrequent Cons: Getting through the first epilation Other hints: Epilating after a warm shower and exfoliating while in the shower makes epilation easier and slightly less painful.

Love this device
I have only used it once and so far it has worked as expected. I have a high pain tolerance and although there is pain in using this device it was not that bad. I could literally feel each hair being pulled out but again the pain was very tolerable. I am hopeful as more uses are done that it will be less painful. All pain aside, everywhere I used this device hair was removed. My skin is silky smooth and I am one of the lucky ones that didn’t get red bumps. I did soak in a warm bath for 5 to 10 minutes and exfoliated while in there. This is recommended when using an epilator and I believe it helped me achieve the results I got, both minimal pain and smoothness. Update: Used a second time one week after first use. Pain was much less than last time, especially on legs and underarms. Bikini area is still a little bit painful but I’m hopeful it will get better with each use. Everywhere I used is smooth and no hair has showed its head 24 hours after so I’m still happy with results. I assume hair growth will slow down significantly as each time I use it. Update: 6 months later and this device is still working as intended. Hair growth has slowed down dramatically and in some places has ceased to grow at all. My legs, underarms and bikini area are all smooth and my skin is silky smooth. Putting lotion on is much easier without any hair removal n the way. It does take some time for hair growth to slow down but I am super happy with the way this product works and the results it has given me. The only stubborn place I have with hair regrowth is the knees just above the shins. This is a hard area to take care of and does not affect my thoughts on this product.

Bad for men. false advertised product...
Okay lets break down this product. 1, for an $ 80 product it comes with a very bad instruction manual. ( you have to go to a salon just to learn how to us it correctly. and even then it works poorly) 2. This company did absolutely 0 research on men who have to get rid of hair.. and it's in the billions: won't work on men hair types.... and yes there is minor differences between men hair and women hair. 3. Pain is always involved: ( any one who says other wise is false adverting) however, the Pluck factor is absolutely horrid. i can single-tweezer better and faster. speed 1 and 2 makes no difference in pluck factor. pain factor is a 5-10 depending on the area. 4. battery life is horrid. 1 full charge can't even do a leg or half a face.... 5. tests: to get smooth. facial hair of various lengths. including shortest, it said it could pluck. # of passes on speed 1 : 50: pain level 7... skin irritation/ red: facial burn= bad sun burn... speed 2: 100: pain level 10... skin irritation/ red: facial burn= bad sunburn... won't even pluck at the shortest length: my hair root starts shaft growth: 4 mm under the skin: leg hair: vibration causes leg muscle spasms at any speed hair has to be trimmed. speed 1: pain level 6 speed 2: pain level 8 It's surprising it took only 3 passes to get smooth. but each pass is about an hour in-between won't pull coarse hairs.. chest: won't pluck at any length just causes pain and skin damage too coarse or fine... 6 or whatever: i think most of the 5* reviews are faked. or these people have the exact type of hair required for these tweezer plates. its a bad over priced product.... most of the attachments don't even work as listed. Id ask for a full refund but the time for such is long past... this product sorely needs a better guide pluck comb Notes: the hairs this device will pluck have to be a certain mm thickness and hair type... these types won't pluck. ( using lamens terms i don't know the medical/ cosmology types) a 2mm thick hair will not pluck. animal whisker hair ( its a type of human hair= usually has no pigment and feels like a cat whisker hense its name )= no go Sensory follicles ( they usually grow 2- 4 mm under the skin first. blackish pigment and wiry usally)= no pluck Irish, Polish, German, Israelite ancestor hair (red or black in pigment usually) ( again it's a genetic type of hair: not actually only in these people )= no pluck due to its courses and thickness neuron bulb hair( its a hair that has white root bulb with long withoilsilicone like substance on the part that grows under the skin= it cause extreme pain and some bleeding when plucked... it is also electro- static conductive-ness) ( no pluck)

Easy and it works!
Love it! I used to sugar myself (which is still my gold standard for hair removal; the exfoliation and hair removal is second to none) but it was messy and time-consuming, and I never really kept up with it because it was such an effort. Accounting for these factors, this little device easily wins as my preferred method of hair removal! Ease of use: there is virtually no mess (other than baby hairs), so I just use it in the shower after drying off or over a towel. Cleaning the baby hairs out of the device takes less than 30s. Also, without sticky fingers, I can easily put on a show or a podcast to make the time go by. Time: I can epilate my legs and bikini plus in about 1–1.5hrs (depending on the level of growth). If I exfoliate well before treatment, my results tend to last 2 weeks before I feel any growth, and at least 2 more before it is visible. At this stage, I can usually epilate the tiny hairs (2mm), which is much shorter than I could successfully remove with sugar wax. Of course, this will vary for everybody, but I find removing that fine growth almost entirely painless, which is another plus for the epilator. Pain: It hurt the first time since I had very full growth, but subsequent sessions have been relatively painless. When I sugared myself, I experienced a lot of discomfort spreading the sugar wax on as it tugged at the hairs before I even ripped them out, and I hated bracing myself for each pull! This device is more like shaving, but with a mild prickling sensation. I usually put on a show or a podcast to distract myself from any discomfort. Bikini area: Everybody’s anatomy, hair thickness, and pain tolerance is different, but I find with patience, a pillow, and a mirror I can get very very close to a full Brazilian with the epilator alone, then tweeze the remainder. To me, this has been a huge selling point. I can get very very close to the results of sugaring with the ease of shaving. Legs: I have finer hair on my legs which are prone to breakage, but I find if I take my time I can most of it from the root. Cost: the upfront cost is less than going to a salon one time, and while it costs a little more than purchasing sugar wax/wax pellets and a warmer, there are no recurring costs. I have easily gotten my money’s worth this summer alone. Overall: like other methods of hair removal from the follicle, there is always going to be some breakage and discomfort, however I have been satisfied on both fronts. Unlike sugaring, this device does not exfoliate your skin, so if you want the same silky results, you must do that step first (and continue to exfoliate to avoid ingrown hairs!). However, the minimal pain, mess, and learning curve have made this device my new favorite method of hair removal! I absolutely recommend!

🤩 ES COMPLETAMENTE PERFECTA Y MUY ÚTIL
Realmente funciona.
