Good basic cat food
I am generally suspicious of the ingredients of animal food and this brand is no different. I hope the ingredients are organic and healthy for my cat. I give her a little of this here and there to supplement her diet of canned tuna and salmon.

So far the Neighborhood cats are not complaining. ;-)
Cats are eating it. ;-)Really, I am being asked about the "Flavor" in the Rate Features? So Far I have not tasted it. ;-)

Meh
For some reason this food has no appeal to our cats. Luckily we also feed them a moist cat food so their not going without food. I even tried to mix their favorite moist food with a little bit of this and the walked away and would not touch it. I can say that when I took the leftover bag outside and dumped, it the wildlife in our area ate it. Not sure if it was raccoons, opossums, skunks, or the fox.

Whole Paws brand food did not work for my cat or dog
Trying to cut down on costs during Covid-19 and unemployment, I bought this food for my cat and she avoided eating it. I first mixed it with her old food, and she didn't seem pleased. She would not eat as much and tried to pick out the old food and eat only it. Then she would start waiting for her evening cat food, which was a wet food from another brand. I thought she may just be being spoiled as she was on a more expensive dry food prior, so I started giving this to her in the evening too so she'd have to try it. She ended up puking it all up, undigested. I backed off the food for a bit and went back to her old one, and due to money and not wanting to waste it, I tried again a week later. This time, sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes and threw up again. Again, went back to her old food, and all the symptoms went away and she's fine again.I also bought the Chicken and Garbanzo beans, and the Turkey one for my dog around the same time. My dog had gas while eating it and eventually would start snubbing it all together and I could not get her to finish the bags. She is a garbage disposal and eats everything, even veggies. Not picky at all... until this food.I don't know what is up with this brand of food, but smelling it myself, I almost sneezed. Has a pungent odor. For all (3) 4 lb bags I ordered around the same time, to be causing my pets problems, it makes me wonder if it was a warehousing/packaging issue and they somehow got moldy. AZ had just started to warm up around that time. Maybe not as much preservatives as other foods, I'm not sure. But for some reason, all 3 bags were very cheap when I purchased them compared to other flavors and brands. I had thrown the bags away when I got them because I transfer them to their own containers I keep in the kitchen so unfortunately I don't remember if there was an expiration date on them.I was sent a free bag of the chicken dog treats from this brand though months ago and my dogs and oddly enough, even my cat, loved them. So I'm not really sure the brand can be blamed.

Super hard & dry pellets
I can only say that my cat didn’t react positively to the smell. She tried to eat it but I could tell she was struggling to break the dry food up. She spit out & left the rest of the ones she tried. The food remained untouched for 3 days.So it’s a no for buying more or recommending it to others.
