This is the first battery powered floodlight that I have bought and I wasn't sure how well it would work. This floodlight is working well and has so far performed as I hoped, even during a recent cold stretch of weather in the teens. The brightness and motion sensing function is good for this type of floodlight and I'm pleased with this purchase. It adds an additional layer of security to the outside of my home.

We bought this in late March/22, and installed it in early April. Now, in August/23 (16 months later), it is still working flawlessly on the original set of batteries. The 3 D cells give it long life. We use it to light our driveway in front of the house and the walkway to the front door when we come home late. I will now install the 2nd set of batteries. We do live in a dry climate (Sant Barbara Ca), so that may contribute to its longevity. Easy installation, and battery replacement. Seldom do I buy a product that works as well.

I had one on the back porch, but it just never quite seemed like it was truly bright. The light seemed to diffuse into the night air, if that makes sense. I replaced with a Mr. Beams 200Lm spotlight that lights up my back porch very brightly.I did however find an excellent use for these floodlights. I put one up on each of the 3 inside walls of my 2 car garage. I frequently go out there for things. Rather than continually turn on and off the flourescent lights out there and shortening their life (who likes trying dispose of flourescent bulbs?).One comes on as soon as I open the door from the house into garage, and stepping out lights up these floods on the other two walls (sensors are pretty good from multiple angles). All three together provides a decent amount of life to get what I need, or to put something back, or to go out with the car in the dark. They also come on when returning car to the garage in the dark, providing light and security until big garage door is closed. None of them cancel each other out (which really says alot about how bright they aren't) so I always have the benefit of all three out there.Overall, a pretty decent light, with limitations on light strength.

For a battery powered sensor light this worked great for under our deck. Very bright. Ended up getting a second one. Definitely recommend!

I bought two and am looking forward to buying a third (maybe even fourth). I purchased these for my unlit backyard so that I can keep an eye on my dog when I let him out at night. I am a renter so I searched high and low for a powerful solution that did not involve hardwiring. These were SUPER EASY to install and are brighter than I expected. Great motion detection too. I am over the moon about this purchase.

Purchased 5 of these for driveway and backyard. Worked better than expected but 2 have recently quit for no reason. Batteries have been replaced but they are plenty bright and convenient. Originally purchased 03/2022 about 9 months old. Would rate 5 except only 3 are still operational.

***Edited 2/27/21 - we just endured record setting cold temps here in Texas last week. I am amazed at these devices. They performed flawlessly, even in single digit degree weather, coated in ice. They are easy to set up - I just zip tie them to gates, trees, and anything else where I wish to generate additional light. They work well and are easy on batteries. We keep one in the yard to help us see when we take our dogs out at night. By zip tying them, we have the freedom to quickly move them around to address a concern or need without having to remount the base of the light.This is a great product which works well in the elements with the right amount of motion sensitivity, which is key as the sensitivity isn't adjustable.You can really up your home security game quickly and easily with these lights.

the light fixture looks nice and i thought it would be just the right thing to light up my side yard but after being installed for a few weeks now its disappointing. the light barely turns on now until you are standing right in front of it, its supposed to turn on from motion up to 20 feet away. i will eventually replace it with a hard wired light and throw this one in the trash
