Do Not Listen To The Negative Reviews! I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, because I was taking him to Boston for a surprise birthday gift. I wanted something to commemorate the trip. While looking for a ship in a bottle I came across this beautiful piece of craftsmanship. The bonus is my boyfriend is a huge whisky fan as well! When I tell you my jaw hit the floor when I opened up the box, I mean I was SPEECHLESS! There is no possible way that even the best pictures could do this decanter justice. It is stunning. It came perfectly packaged, tightly sealed in Styrofoam. When you fill it with your liquor of choice, the ship appears to be sinking (who wouldn't want to sink into their favorite batch of spirits?). The glass cork with rubber rings keeps the decanter perfectly sealed, so the liquor stays fresh. And the stand is very sturdy with the perfect deep wooden stain to really make the decanter the statement piece. And the cherry on top really had to be the fantastic customer service from the seller! They reached out to me once they were notified the product had been delivered to ensure everything was intact and satisfied my standards. A++

I just received my decanter in the mail, super fast as I ordered two days ago. Bought it for my guy as a birthday gift since he loves Whisky. Love the workmanship of the product. The decanter is a bit smaller than I expected but for the price, the set is a deal. The wood stand is very well made and the glass quality is great too. The product was very well packaged and came with no flaws or accidents. I was skeptical after reading reviews of the ship being broken. I decided to take the risk anyway, and so glad I did. Highly recommended!

It is absolutely beautiful and my husband loved it. I had to reorder the product because the first one was broken probably because of the handling during transit. I would recommend the package be labeled fragile. Other than that this is a great gift for a great price.

It is an absolutely beautiful set for a gift for somebody who drinks bourbon or scotch. I bought it for my son‘s birthday so I didn’t get to take a picture but trust me it is beautiful! I want one for myself!

The set is great. It is classy and looks amazing on my fireplace mantle. There are only two issues I have with it: first is that when rotating the cradle I feel as if it will break off in my hand (it's not wobbly or loose, just fragile feeling); and second are the whiskey stones that came with it, you practically have to use them all if you want it chilled (or maybe my idea of chilled is more chilled than others). Anyway, aside from those two issues it should make for a great gift for yourself or others.

Was a gift for my husband. He loves it. He didn't even realize the ship inside the bottle lol. Awesome gift and not flimsy. Nice glasses. Came fast too.

The package came beautifully put together in a box with good support inside to prevent breakage. It is exact;y like the picture of it shows. The sailing ship inside the decanter makes for a very nice touch. Perfect gift for a male. I plan on giving it to my brother in law to keep in his real estate office with a bottle of whiskey. It will make a nice touch for closing deals.

This was a great gift idea and looked really nice. HOWEVER.. it was damaged and the main globe was shattered in the box.
