Tacloft Unisex Rectangle 57mm Polarized Clip on Sunglasses CLIPON2015 Perfect for Driving

As others have said, these do NOT look like clip-ons. That's a huge feature. My wife didn't want me to get them but likes them once she saw them. They are DARK. Too dark for high-contrast situations like driving into the sun (good) and wanting to look down at the dashboard controls (bad). I wouldn't recommend them for skiing because there's obviously no side protection, but that's not what I bought them for.UPDATE: I bought the Tea color and they are MUCH LESS DARK. Bright sun is too bright, but they're fabulous for bright cloudy days. The point of this update is to say that different colors vary greatly in how much light they block. The gray ones are in the middle.

I work in law enforcement and as much as I love prescription Oakley’s. They break, or fall off and get crushed in a scuffle too often for me to drop $300 each time that happens. These clip ons cost pennies in exchange. These are awesome. They’re subtle. Easy to use. And dangerously close to stylish. Enjoy them.

I have looked at quite a few options for clip on and spring fitted sunglasses. These are the BEST I have found on Amazon!! I love the small and almost hidden clip at the bridge of the nose. All others are completely obvious and quite horrendous to look at...in fact most look like something from Revenge of the Nerds. These sunglasses seat and match perfectly. No scratching or falling on to the nose!!!

These look great and fit extremely tight. since there is no lever to release the clamp they are very hard to put on and remove. but this does give these particular lenses a unique look. If you don't mind flipping them up when you go inside a store (for instance) they're a good choice. Don't be in a hurry to remove these though, you could damage your eye glasses.

Good color and polarization, and they seem very resilient. Two small issues: the clip fingers WILL scratch your lenses even though they are plastic coated. It would be difficult to prevent scratches with any kind of clip that touches or moves across your lens surface. The other, very small idiosyncrasy is with the plastic case (which I appreciate them providing). Rather than opening bottom to top, it opens left to right like a book. For some reason I always open it upside down (maybe because I'm right-handed?). Certainly nit picking, but I thought you should know. Otherwise very happy with their sun-blocking ability.

These fit my plastic frame glasses and the polarization is very good. Here’s my complaint: I bought these to replace the same product that I bought last summer but lost. The last summer version was perfect - 5 stars. I could put them on and remove them with one hand yet they were firmly affixed to my glasses. (I lost them when I took them off and put them...somewhere). These that I just got look the same but the clamps that hold them onto my glasses are really tight - to use them I have to remove my glasses then wedge them onto my glasses and straighten them and line them up with the lenses. I’m going to keep them because they are the right size for my glasses lenses and that was hard to find. But oh do I wish they were just like the ones I lost...

These came in a well packaged box. They do come in a clear plastic case which is good.These actually fit my glasses perfectly and the color is blue which is what I ordered.Came out of the case in perfect condition, no scratches, planning to take these when I go out. The clip mechanism is a little stiff and doesn't open very much. If your glasses are wire-frames, this won't be an issue, but if they're a bit thicker, you'll need two hands to put them on or take them off. This is something I wish I'd realized, especially since they don't flip up. The photos showed them clipped onto plastic frames, so I guess I thought this wouldn't be an issue, but it basically means that if the weather's partly cloudy, I can't really wear them while driving unless I'm stopping a lot. Still though, the tint is nice, not too dark, and more toward yellow which handles bright sunlight without diminishing vision. If you have wire frames or super thin plastic frames, I highly recommend these, but if they're a little thicker, I'd suggest going with ones that flip.
