5 Seat Pedal Boat

This summer, we moved to a beautiful house on Lake Whitehurst and before the ink was dry on the closing documents, I went looking for a pedal boat. For about three weeks, I tried to find a used pedal boat for under $400, and every time I located one, it was sold before I could get out there to see it. And then - just for giggles - I clicked here on Amazon to check the price. To my amazement, it was only a little bit more than the "used boat" prices I'd been seeing, and it had FREE SHIPPING to my front door.You just can't beat that deal.The happy day arrived and my pedal boat was shipped to my house. I opened the box (which was fairly poorly wrapped), and there was my teal and beige pedal boat, shiny, new and pretty and ready to be carried to the waiting lake in the back yard.The boat was light enough that it was easy for two people to carry through the yard. And it seems to be very well-built and surprisingly sturdy. Once it was launched, I was even more impressed. It's delightful to take a late-afternoon boat ride by yourself, and the pedal boat is surprisingly nimble and responsive in the water. Doesn't take too much effort to move merrily down the stream.When we have guests at the house, they love to take a ride in our little pedal boat, and always come back to shore with a smile on their face!It's a lot of fun for one or two people, but add a couple more people to the rear part of the boat and it'll slow your speed down a LOT. I can't imagine having a FIFTH person (in-between the two front seats), because that'd be a tight squeeze.For one person sitting in that center spot, it's pretty uncomfortable, due to the way that the plastic seat is molded, but you can also easily maneuver the boat from the far left or far right seat.In conclusion, this boat seems to be really well made and it's a whole lot of fun. And it's a SWEET deal for under $500. Highly recommend!!

This boat is really fun. I took off one star due to the limited leg room. It is difficult for a taller person to sit and/or peddle.

Came with a hole in the bottom (looked like a forklift caused it), and the pedal boat itself was fairly dirty. It also cam with scratches on the top of the seat. Fairly disappointing. To be fair the seller came and picked it up reasonably quickly.

first one had big hole in it replaced ok hard to imagine more than 2 people in it poor pedal power and poor steering good to just float in price ok but i wouldnt buy again

So far, so good! It's a great little cruiser for our neighborhood pond. Lightweight, stable in the water, and easy to pedal and steer. The squeaky rudder mechanism would be my only minor criticism, but I'm sure I can grease the right spots and make it go away.

Awesome product for the price. Love spending time on our lake. Built in cooler is a must for anybody that enjoys a cold beverage. on the water. Quality product and I would recommend this product to anybody looking for a pedal boat.

Great little paddle boat. and the price is right. We live on a lake and I have really enjoyed this product easy to drive and very roomy

We have been waiting for over a month for the delivery of this item. It's keeps being delayed without any explanation. It is a Christmas present and I would like to know if it is being delivered by then. Or for that matter- at all.
