Breath Ketone Meter Acetone Analyzer with Digital Readings

This ketone monitor is quite accurate to the industry grade equipment that I tested with today. I was sceptical if this would work, so had to make sure if the reading was correct and infact it is. It is portable and the readings are quick. It takes less than 20s for the machine to warm up and after you blow for 3s you get the result. Go for it!

I am disappointed in myself that I did not make this purchase sooner. A couple readings have appeared suspect at times (or maybe I really did push deep into starvation mode) but for the most part it seems very accurate for where I am expecting it should read. Would highly recommend.

First, it is very important to read the manual. The meter is easy to use, simple to operate and understand but most importantly it is accurate and gives repeatable results. Excellent for monitoring the progress of our Keto diets! Thank you for an affordable, simple and reliable option, that does not require perishable or costly supplies!

The device seems quite accurate. Being a novice, I did have to do it a few times for an accurate reading. Initially I was not blowing forcefully enough. Also better if you partially exhale before blowing into the meter. I am very happy with the meter. It is light weight enough that I can take it to work and check readings after lunch.

Update: Support never answered me, but I do think that it is working better. Still not completely happy with the consistency, but it’s worthy of a 3 star rating as opposed to the initial 1 star that I gave it.This seems to have worked great for the first 24 hours. And then it just stopped working altogether. Gives me a 0.0 reading every single time and does not acknowledge that I’ve blown into it. I’ve tried exhausting the residuals like the manual says to do. Still doesn’t work. I emailed Support, if they can help me get it working again I will revise this review. Otherwise I’m requesting a refund

It doesn't work. You have to breathe in a very specific manner to get it to even acknowledge you breathed into it. I couldn't even get that far. All of my breaths came back 0, despite my other method showing ketosis, because it wouldn't register my 20+ attempts at breathing into this.

The only thing I didn’t like was that if you use it and don’t remove the battery next time you use it the battery is dead ... that was very discouraging

I bought this back in March and it worked great then. I was getting readings consistent with what I believed my levels to be based on how many carbs I ate. Fast forward to now, and I will test myself 5 times in a row and get anything from a zero to a 5.2 (which would indicate ketoacidosis which I am POSITIVE I am not in). If I spend $50 on something I expect it to last at least a few years. I am very dissapointed.
