Nice Toothbrushes, but Change in Brushing Technique Possibly Required
TL,DR: Great sustainable product, brushes are better quality than I'd expect for the price, super soft bristles. BUT bristles are so soft that I'm spending more effort on brushing my teeth which seems to be causing the bristles to bend/fray._____I started into my pack (only used 1 brush for a few weeks so far) and am generally pleased with the product:Pros:- Arrived in sustainable packaging.- 2 per individual box. Reduced packaging v. individually wrapping, convenient for traveling with a partner. Excellent presentation upon opening.- Bamboo handle is lightweight, well-made, just-right size (small enough fit in a purse/travel pouch but long enough to have a good grip/be usable for most people).- Product and packaging are sustainable and compostable.- Quality has been decent so far.- Bristles are super soft.- Excellent value for the price.Cons (which are mostly just personal preferences):- 2-packs are a great step v. individually wrapping them, but I hope they can offer a "bulk package" in the future where the toothbrushes don't need separate packaging within the box. I understand there might be issues with ensuring bristles don't get bent during shipping, but it would help reduce packaging even further.- It would be nice if they offered a "marked" option. I like the design as-is, but it would be nice if the toothbrushes could be numbered or have other identifying marks on them (1) in case different household members share the same holder for their toothbrushes and/or (2) to encourage replacing your toothbrush quarterly. People can always just mark their own at home, but it'd still be a nice optional feature.- Bristles are maybe too soft?? I've always preferred medium-firm bristles for a good dental scouring, so this is likely just personal preference. I feel like I'm pressing down harder on this toothbrush, employing more circular strokes versus my normal back-and-forth sawing, and spending more time brushing for a mediocre-at-best clean feeling than I have with medium-firm brushes. It's only been a few weeks, so it's possible I just need to get used to it, but I haven't felt truly squeaky-clean since switching to this brush and its soft bristles.- To tie into the previous point, the bristles along the perimeter are starting to slightly point "out" v. straight up. Likely would've happened with any soft bristle brush since I'm probably exerting more pressure on it than I would with medium-firm brushes of the past (which never displayed that "frayed" look even at the end of 3 months' use). But it is a little concerning that it's already showing this after only a few weeks, and I'm going to be using it for ~10 more weeks. If these bristles are so soft that even changing to a "gentler" toothbrushing technique (and I don't really want to change my behavior to accommodate a toothbrush) results in wildly frayed bristles, I'm going to be really disappointed.

Everyone should use non plastic brushes
These are great. My 2nd run of using non plastic brushes. I had avoided it for years because I figured I got the plastic ones for free from my dentist....but a friend gave me a non plastic as a gift and it was the best brush I ever had in my life!! So now I am a believer! One less of the 340 million plastic toothbrushes that end up in the dump every month in the United States. They look cool, are better for the environment because they biodegrade, and are way better quality in my humble opinion.

Best choice
I've used THIS brand of toothbrushes for 4 years as of this review. I'd tried a few other brands of non plastic non acrylic brushes, and this is what I settled on and reorder every time. The shape of the handle and brush head, both are comfortable -easy to use - the bristles do not shed and I can feel that between my teeth get a better brushing. Very happy in every way and highly recommend.

Good quality
Minimalist design like I wanted, and the toothbrushes are numbered rather than colored. Natural color bristles too.

Made very small.
These are made small for a toddler. I would like to find adult size, I have a small mouth, but these are just real little. Very soft bristles, which are nice, perfect for my little one.
