Lights with one match, and once lit it stays lit until it burns out. What more could you want? Seller was fast and cheaper than other sources online.Also, the star pattern on the top is not just decorative - it allows you to snap each piece into six smaller fractions, a big plus for short prayer services.

Easy Lighting, One Piece Lasts about 1 hour
Lighting the charcoal is easy to do, and we did not find any issue with popping during lighting, or breaking apart in storage. The pieces do give off some powder in the storage packaging, but it is not too bad. Our church is in a humid environment for most of the year, and the pieces so far are not breaking up.We light one charcoal before Mass, then a 2nd one during the Homily, and even the 1st charcoal has pieces remaining past the end of Mass. When the charcoal is lit, we can knock off the outer layer to expose the burning ember, while the charcoal holds together well enough for the incense to be sprinkled on top.

breaks easily, does not last
Don't get fooled by the cover! The brisques are so tender that you can't even take them out from the pack. Makes such a mess..

Came with many fractured pieces
Easy to light, however didn't expect to see so many pieces fractured. We will be using at funeral masses for incense. Our pastor said it'll all burn just fine.

Use these to burn incense on . There the best for church use. Have used these for 20 years. I appreciate that you can easily break them into 1/2's, 1/3's, or 1/6's.
