The image seems to show a male/female device. In fact the product delivered was female/female. I don’t judge. After all, I’m told that gender is fluid. But surely not when it comes to hose fittings! Consequently I’ve had to purchase another adapter which contains two patriarchal external genitalia.

It is an "OK" product for home use. I would NOT recommend for commercial use. To weakly manufactured.The garden hose (GH) fitting is made of soft brass and arrived with a dent. The dent made tightening on to a garden hose snug and leaked. I used a mallet and gently reshaped the hose fitting.My suggestion to the vendor:1. is to pack item is a box and not a bubble bag.BTW, item on picture is not the item shipped. The description and the picture are incorrect. The picture is a 1/2" NPT with garden hose connector.

This female connector T -T, Threaded onto both Pipe and PVC without a problem and did not leak. Also since the hose cutoff is brass it will not have a chemical or metallurgical reaction and corrode due to different metals. The swivel coupling came quick and description matched the product.A quick note- I did have to purchase a gasket(seal) for one end as it only came with one gasket, for either the bib or the pvc end and I cannot remember which.

The fitting I received was the correct fitting as described: 3/4-inch FHT to 3/4-inch female pipe thread (tapered). The image for this listing is wrong; the image shows a 3/4-inch FHT to 1/2-inch FPT.

Easy to install, did not freeze up in winter storm.

This is a female/female adapter and as such should have a gasket in both ends, but only one was included. This would cost the manufacturer less than $0.02 to include rather than making the customer go searching for one after thinking they're ready to use the item. If you're not going to include the gasket for both sides, your description needs to indicate this.

My bad, the second one leaked but a couple days later I went back determined to give it one more chance. I had hand tighten it. This time I used the hex nut fitting to tighten with a wrench, snugged it tighter to the rubber washer...NO Leaks. Here's my old blah blah..."I bought these brass swivel connectors thinking gotta be better than leaky plastic ones. Well, yes and NO. One is fine the other leaks worse than plastic ones. So for the cost I would be better buying a bunch of plastic swivels, hoping for a good one."

A little expensive

This thing was a piece of garbage. The part shown in the photograph is not what I received. The large female end with the rubber gasket was extremely small. A standard 5/8 hose could not even thread into place. I think it’s a problem they have had before because when I started the return they gave me my money back and told me to keep the part. As I said, the part was not useable, I threw it away.

Perfect for converting a 3/4 NPT male pipe thread to a 3/4 male garden hose thread.
