Got this for my wife due to the color pattern and overall visual aesthetic… it has a dark almost navy blue/gray look in the product photos. I have a million rustic brown leather journals… I could have given her one of mine… overall the journal is made well… otherwise I’d give it two stars… the fact is, when you order something special like this, the way it looks is very important… the appearance of this journal is what made me decide it was the right one for her… I feel like I was shipped an entirely different product… but I wasn’t… the photos just aren’t accurate… if you’re just looking for a good leather journal, this one will do… but there are much better ones for the price… if you’re looking for a journal with similar colors and appearance to match someone’s personality or other things, don’t be surprised when it comes in hot pink or something because these people obviously don’t care a great deal about making their pictures accurate.

I’m using this for a daily Journal, it looks good and serves my purpose.

This is a very nice journal with hefty textured pages. My 15 year old was impressed to have received such a nice journal. She loved it.
