I liked this set because it comes with multiple stages to wean down to a plain pencil.3 finger grip (most restrictive)2 finger gripFish positionerSmaller fish positioner (least restrictive)My kindergartner picked up a bad habit and I was able to correct it starting with the 2 finger grip then the fish positioners.My preK child was scribbling with her whole hand wrapped around the pencil so I started her with the 3 finger grip and her progress has been great as she's writing letters after about a month.Note: these do not easily fit on the large "learning pencils" but could probably be forced on. After extended removal and application they do tend to loosen a bit but not the point of being non operational.

My son’s biggest challenge with pencil grip is keeping his middle finger in the icorrect spot. I love that these have a loop for that finger. This is exactly what we needed.

I had high hopes for these but my kids ages 5,5, and 7 found them uncomfortable and had trouble getting their fingers inside, too small for adult fingers to try out but not what I had hoped
