Canon 0651C002 ImageFORMULA DR-C240 Office Document Scanner

We were looking for a compact better than average scanner, but not wanting to pay the outrages prices. This scanner fits the criteria. It does a nice job scanning and the program is easy to use and understand. Very customizable. The set up was easy. No need to pay an IT person to set up for you. We purchased 3 of them and all 3 users are very happy with the performance.

I do a lot of scanning of a multitude of document types. I have used Xerox and other business-grade scanners in the past, and this one has the best hardware and software I have used throughout the years. This scanner is a great addition to my business (and home). If you plan to scan documents to PDF or pictures, it does them all well.

it works well, but includes no Apple software, you need to go to Canon web site to get driver + it has to be the 2nd driver because only it has needed software, Canon was very nice + quick to get back on e-mail to sort it all out

In the past, I've bought cheaper scanners. By spending just a bit more I'm getting better speed along with good quality. A good decision.I had a glitch in the setup process. Probably my fault. I called Canon tech support and got very good help to get everything squared away.

Scans both sides at once, clear images, rarely jams, quiet.

Look (in the photos) similar to the DR-M160II. not as heavy duty, lower quality is easy noticeable.Scan well without jamming, you get what you pay for.It seems that the price of the M160II went up, to create space for this new product.

we scan docs every day, few documents but different sizes. we have used printer scanners for many years and this is the second time I invest in a scanner to increase our efficiency (first trial was a brother ds-200). There are some things i am lookin for efficiency more than speed and quality. we scan mainly documents so i dont care about color and i dont care about 30 ppm. I am looking for 1 click button to scan to a drive and this one is far from that. too many clicks to get to the folder. keeps asking for a plug in I already installed for one drive after every scan. it does not scan ID's. it jams frequently, it pulls 2 sheets at once and gets stock. I will keep looking for that ideal scan for now. will update my review if I find that the problem is the interface with the user :)update 06/02/2021device stop working today, i was receiving an error "scanner is not ready" for several days and after restarting scanner a few times the issue would go away however the error just wont go even after restarting several time computer and scanner. very low quality on this product. my opinion of the scanner has not changed from the original post, it provides a fast scanning function for sure but with a lot of issues jamming documents and causing the software to fail if different thickness of paper is used.spent 3 hours with customer support they instructed me to download a file and run a tool to fix the issue and it worked again.update 06/07/2021Scanner stop working again and the tool the provided is no longer working, what a joke of scanner.it is a real nightmare trying to keep this product working properly.calling Cannon customer support again...
