Heavy duty for smaller extinguisher applications..
A fairly heavy duty bracket for smaller extinguishers mounted in "high abuse" areas. Safety (bottle securing) strap isn't "easy" to latch, which is a plus but definitely doable for my 70 yr old beat up hands. This bracket holds the Vehicle/Marine (white colored bottle) SECURELY. Just be sure the bracket is mounted SECURELY to wherever it's placed.

Good bracket (BRACKET2)
I was a little leery of getting the BRACKET2 given the numerous reviews stating it didn't fit the extinguisher it says it does. I am pleased to report it fits my FE10GR perfectly. Did not have to remove the rubber cushions to get it snapped. No complaints. The plastic bracket supplied with the extinguisher has a strap that is near to impossible to fasten and will fail over time due to plastic deteriorating, especially when exposed to weather in a marine application. The metal bracket is a far better mount. Purchased 3-14-22.

Solid
A solid mount for wall installation. I wanted a secure mount for a sidewall next to my kitchen. I didn't want just a hook because I was afraid it could easily be bumped into and fall. This bracket does not come with mounting screws which, if you think about it does make sense since the manufacturer has no way of knowing what kind of wall the bracket will be mounted to. Such as drywall, brick, solid wood, hollow wall paneling, etc. All of which require different types of wall anchors. The liability is on the installer. One annoyance I had was with the clasp. It is shipped flat then has to be "formed" to wrap around the extinguisher. It was difficult to make this curve enough to fit. The clasp fits very tight and I think it would be better if the manufacturer would make it about 1/4" to 3/8" longer.Other than that, it's a solid mount that keeps the extinguisher close by, off the floor and at a height that everyone can easily reach.

Better than the extinguisher rolling around in the RV
I feel like $12 is a bit high for this, however, I have three fire extinguishers in my fifth wheel RV. Kitchen, toy hauler garage, and single under-rig bay. The one down below never had a bracket. (Probably RV mfg oversight, what else would be new?) Decided I was tired of it rolling around so set about to track this product down. It's actually rather difficult to figure out which bracket goes with which extinguisher. Using my Spock's "best guess", pulled the trigger on this one and it worked perfectly. Phew.

Everything I hoped for!
I used this to mount a fire extinguisher in my boat. I didn’t like the idea of using the plastic mount that comes with the fire extinguisher. This was very easy to mount (just a few screws or bolts) and you are ready to go! It holds on tight to the fire extinguisher, but is also very easy to release (incase there is a fire). It keeps the extinguisher pulled tight against the mounting surface, and overall appears to be very sturdy. Other then that, it has one job… and it does it well. I would recommend!

Extinguisher may not fit.
Be careful. your extinguisher may not fit into fork at top. Mine is less than 1 mm wider. Returning for refund.

Too small for Kidde 2.5lbs
Doesn’t fit Kidde 2.5lbs.

Works just fine
The bracket is for a 5 lb extinguisher. Some extinguishers have a smaller neck like Kidd brand but the strap will hold the extinguisher in place just be aware it will likely fall if you aren't holding it when you open the bracket. As for the video posted about the strap, this person does not know how to close the unit, there is nothing wrong with it.

Precarious installation
This seems overpriced. The metals were kind of sharp and gave me a cut. I have the 2lb first alert fire extinguisher it was designed for, but the fit wasn't great. The ring clamps too tight, causing the bottle to tilt and stick out precariously from the U-shaped neck. I see a real risk of the fire extinguisher popping out, falling out, and smashing your toes when you try to take it out to use it. I ended up making my own fire extinguisher holder using scrap wood and velcro straps.
