I'm an active penpaller and mail artist swapper and so I go through paper supplies like crazy! There was little feedback for these at the time of my purchase, so I wasn't sure what I'd get--plus I was unfamiliar with this brand. Having just left poor feedback for another set of envelopes, I'm all too aware of how much can actually go wrong with a item as deceptively basic as a simple envelope. But these are stellar!The boring but vital stats: These are classic #10 sized 'business' envelopes in "Kraft". Though the description says they're 70lb, nothing on the packaging confirms that and I highly doubt they're that thick because your average scrapbook-quality card stock is about 65lbs--and these are way more flexible than that. However, they aren't too flimsy and I can pack in several sheets of paper and a few pieces of ephemera or a small photo or two without worry. I ordered a 100 pack, I received 100 (I counted). They're all evenly cut, no weird inconsistencies in size, color, or texture. They don't stink of cheap glue (these aren't self adhesive). However, the glue doesn't quite span the entire length of the envelope so you may need little pieces of tape to secure the ends--be aware of that. It's a small gripe but must be mentioned. I also don't suspect these are inkjet printer compatible. Ok, now the fun part.......I have no idea how the average person plans to use these, but I discovered these are AMAZING for those of us who like to do fancy address lettering; they take a pencil, but more importantly, an eraser sooooo well! So forgiving. I go over my pencil work with a Posca metallic pen and outline/highlight with a Gellyroll or Spica Glass--and it looks seriously incredible. The paper is a tad more pulpy than a standard smooth white envelope; it can't take all tip types (some fountain pens may struggle) as if it gets too wet the paper may ball a little and no one likes to drag their nib, but there's no significant bleed through and this accepts virtually all art pens I've tried. I adore how my guide lines just vanish COMPLETELY, without at all compromising the finish of the paper, when I erase them. No more freehand for me!The definition and texture of "Kraft" paper wildly varies so this is my best description::Some cheapy Kraft paper is really flat and basically just like dyed brown standard printer paper--this isn't. Some Kraft paper is more like disposable 'butcher block' paper and has a kind of slickness or blotchiness I can't work with--this isn't. Then finally, some Kraft papers are thick with fibers and 'hairs' and are uneven and rough in texture--this isn't. So I love how ideal these envelopes are for art work. The shade is just a touch lighter than most grocery store sacks.I'll be ordering more and pursuing other paper products from this brand.

These envelopes are a lot brighter than I expected them to be based on the picture. I expected a true orange or a (hopefully) burnt orange, but these are definitely a bright neon orange. In the South, it's what I would consider a "Hunter" orange. That is the one shade of orange I definitely did not need. I will include a picture of one next to an actual orange for comparison.I have no use for these envelopes, but that doesn't mean they are not well-made. They arrived in perfect condition and the gum works like it should. They are just really, really neon orange. If that's what you are looking for, these are great envelopes for you. Heck, you can have mine.

Good quality. I wanted something different than plain white envelopes for general purpose, Bills etc. I also like to write hand letters to friends sometimes, so these make it seem a little special as well. A note these ship without a box, just shrink wrapped between two pieces of cardboard. So I store them in an old envelope box I already had. They are a bit lighter than a brown paper bag.

These are a generous thickness and size. We use them when sending something from the office that is light and good news. The color quiets the nervous receiver who is used to getting snail mail mostly when there is a problem. Who would send bad news in this envelope?

I purchased these envelopes because I felt it would be very easy to find the insurance and registration in the glove box if they were kept in a loud and colorful envelope. Unfortunately, my son was able to test this theory within 24 hours of use. The police even commented to him that it was very clever to keep these important documents in a red envelope so that they can be quickly taken out of the glove box without the police worrying about why someone is rummaging around. I did not buy these envelopes to send anyone mail so I can't comment on their usefulness for that purpose or the quality of their seal. But these suckers are loud and red so they work perfect for me.

I bought these for an Amazing Race themed party. The description said they are thicker and I didn't really believe it until I bought other envelopes (for more money). These envelopes are a much better quality than other, more expensive items out there. The color is great- very vibrant, and these are thicker. I would buy these again.

Sending mail doesn't have to be boring. Slow, maybe. But boring? No way. These help your letter stand out among the rest. You'll be the first of their letters to open and you'll likely be remembered for what ever you wrote, too (so make a good impression!). -- I love these. I print on them all the time as well using an Inkjet Printer. They absorb the ink perfectly! As for the adhesion, I personally add a little extra elmer's glue for good measure. The adhesive they come with isn't terrible, but it isn't amazing, either.

I use these for my business, great product, and has a strong adhesive seal. I purchased the blue because when I mail patches to people, I want them to be surprised and happy as if they were receiving a birthday gift. I won't use anything else
