I would strongly recommend against using this product for larger files and folders. This thumbdrive would work great for typical use, but at that point why would you need 2 TB of storage?My thumbdrive did have the listed storage capacity (2 TB, minus some change). However, my primary purpose for this drive was to store computer games. Rather than uninstalling, then downloading if I wanted to play it again, I would move the game to the thumbdrive, then I'd have room for my next game. If I wanted to reinstall, it was a simple process of moving it back onto the computer's memory. This saves time, and, more importantly, internet speeds (I pay quite a bit for Internet, living in a rural area, so managing my downloads in terms of both bandwidth and data is important).I've done this plenty before, with other, smaller, flashdrives, and never had a problem. However, with this drive, it corrupted on writes extremely often (at least for large files), roughly one in three games were rendered unreadable. Like I said, probably works just fine for small, everyday files and use, but this is a 2TB drive, and I expected to be able to put large files on it reliably. As it is, I can't use this product for the uses I had intended. If I wanted an everyday thumbdrive, I'd get one with max 128GB, there's no reason in my mind to get something larger for a temporary storage device, unless you are moving large files.

Great quality. I have purchased thousands to find these. The rest are suspect. Purchase these.

Data transfer times, using W10 cut & paste reads out as between 546 BYTES/sec to 1.2 kB/sec. I let it run overnight to copy OpenOffice, and a couple of doc files. The small doc files could be opened using OpenOffice on my computer, but after trying to install the office suite on the thumb drive, it failed after several hours. I looked at reviews on Amazon, and others (e.g., WalMart) and found that reviews are EITHER 5 stars (works great) or 1 star (doesn't work), so I suspect it's an issue with manufacturing quality control. Not worth wasting the time & effort. Pay a couple of bucks more and get a unit that works. Imagine if it failed after you transferred crucial files. The only good news is that at under 500 bytes/sec it'll take you many, many years to fill this drive.

I bought it and used it for small backups. this is about the 5th time I am trying to use it as backup and it is not working anymore, won't let me even open the device and I lost what was on there. I don't mind that as I make 3 drives for simple and full backups. So I have backupu avail, not with this crap usb driver.Don't buy it, buy a good name like SanDisk..cost more but is worth it in the end

This product is falsely listed as 2tb. When inserted into a computer, it will report itself as 1tb, but it isn't even that - after some investigating I found that it's actually an 8gb drive with some malware on it that causes it to misreport its size. This is a straight-up 100% scam.

This USB drive is falsely advertised as a 3.0, it is not compatible with video game consoles.

No me gusto, estoy molesto, ya que solo acepto 20.2 gb y despues marca ERROR, a pesar de que indica tener 1.88 Terabytes, es falsa la capacidad que anuncian.
