Snell MTB-X Golf Balls

I switched to the MTB-X from the Titleist AVX and Pro-V1x balls. I am a 9 handicap.Pros- exceptionally long distance. They are easily 5-10 yards farther than other balls. High spin for short to mid irons. Very durable and well priced. They spin enough that they offer the ability to hit a wide variety of shots but still give you the option of hitting lower spin shots.Cons - I think they spin a lot on all shots including your driver. I think the reward of a flush shot is worth it but they are not as forgiving on miss-hit drives and you’ll miss some fairways. They have a pronounced seem down the middle and I would imagine this causes some dispersion. They are not the bestIn the wind.These balls reward you for well hit shots. They are easy to work and feel fantastic off the face. They are not as forgiving as Titleist balls but they have allowed me to hit a wider range of shots without sacrificing distance or durability. The balls typically late 18-36 holes(if I don’t loose them!)

I received the SNELL MTB-X balls very quickly.I am 2 handicap and I took the start of a competition without having played before. This ball is very resistant and very handy, the trajectories to the drive are penetrating and roll more than the PROV1. I gained a few yards on the long shots.This golf ball reacts perfectly with short clubs and the contact is soft. I am convinced and I recommend this ball which has a ratio quality - price fabulous. I researched this ball after seeing that it ranked so highly in independent testing. It turns out that these balls were designed by the same guy that helped design the Pro V1 yet these balls are priced considerably lower. After playing a sleeve of these, I determined that they are not the best fit for me but I don't want to penalize them by rating them lower because they actually do perform like Pro V1's. I don't play Pro V1's. so I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered these. These balls, just like Pro V1's are long but they spin too much for me off the driver just like Pro V1's. I prefer to sacrifice greenside spin to gain more driver accuracy.

I was hesitant to write this review because I selfishly don't want more people discovering these amazing golf balls. I play 3x/week 6 months out of the year and shoot 80-85. I exclusively play Titleist Pro-V1 and Bridgestone Tour BX S golf balls. I decided to try these Snell balls this week and can genuinely tell you they're EVERY BIT as impressive, responsive, and dependable as the more premium brands I use. Exceptional distance, jealousy-inducing spin, and buttery smooth feel on the greens. I've found a new (and more affordable!) golf ball.

I tried this golf ball based on reviews that I read here and at My Golf Spy. I am amazed at how good this ball is, especially, at its current price point. I have Pro V's and Bridgestone XS balls that are collection dust, because when I play I only want to use Snell's.This is a great ball from driver to putter and I recommend you try them. You will not be disappointed.

I play a ton of golf and usually use high end balls, mostly the PROV1X. These balls are awesome, I have a launch monitor and see little to no difference in their ball speed and spin numbers compared to every major top ball, often beating the $48 balls. These balls do launch noticeably higher off the irons so if you tend to hit a high shot you might want to try these out before making a large purchase. Several negative reviews about scuffing, I definitely scuff them but no worse than any other ball. (I usually only get one round out of a ball as I still have some "legal for amateur competition until 2025" square grove Vokey Spin Milled wedges that are like new from 10 years ago"). Several posters talked about only getting 3 holes out of them, I played the same ball for 27 holes at Whistling Straights a few weeks ago and had a career round, yes it was scuffed but not unplayable.

I love everything about this ball! I am a 2 handicap golfer, and was a die-hard Pro-V user for years. Briefly switched to the Titleist AVX balls but had trouble with the spin and stopping them on the greens. Someone gave me a Snell MTB-X to try, and I was hooked. The spin was great, and the distance is outstanding. Your not gonna blow past the Pro-V or the AVX by some crazy number, but realistically I would say I do get 5 to 10 yards longer with the Snell. My swing speed is 105-mph and the MTB-X seems to compress well for me, in colder weather I use the MTB because it's a little softer and needed in cold weather conditions. Get the sample pack and choose for yourself, you won't regret it and you will save money!

8-10 handicap. Honestly these are really good balls. I moved around from pro-v, to chrome, Z star, basically I tried them all. They are all good but these are better and cheaper! Soft off of the wedge but also hot off the driver. Nice feel on the greens too. Love them

These should become more popular in Europe and very please to support a company like Snell to succeed.Great feel to these balls and will buy again once i've lost current box :-)..
