Cybill - The Complete Second Series

THE BEST SEASON OF A GREAT SHOW (Cybil Shepherd's ego got in the way a bit from Season 3)

But I hope we won't have to wait so long for season three.I loved this show - never understood why it was so overlooked. Put it down to Hollywood having no sense of humour about itself.Great writing, all the actors totally throw themselves into their parts. My favourite, no surprise, would have to be Christine Baranski as Maryanne.Well worth a viewing.

It is very fun,with a lot of good actors especially cybill shepherd who shows she can play a lot of things very different.Order it and you are sure to enjoy yourself.

Cybill is a natural as is Christine Baranski but together they are unbeatable. I bought Season 1, and am now waiting for Season 3. Still one of the funniest shows I have ever watched.

Cybill and Mary Ann are just superb. Mary Ann as Cybill's sidekick just gets better and more fun. Love this series, am so glad that they are avail. on DVD's, may the other seasons come soon!

Oddly, this series was never released here in the States so I had to resort to ordering it from the UK and get an all-region DVD player! That said, I have to say that this was one of the funniest TV shows ever, and this second series has the best episodes as well... Particularly funny is the episode where Cybill goes to the Oscars and manages to get embroiled in a tabloid smear campaign. The episode aired very shortly after the Hugh Grant fiasco and was obviously modeled on many elements of the situation. Additionally, it aired only a couple of weeks after the event, making it timely as well as hilarious. It's one of the funniest episodes of anything I've ever seen... Great show - get it and enjoy!
