Works Great!
Works MUCH better than the metal skelters that are popular right now. The tray is large enough to accommodate any size egg - even our duck eggs...but not a goose egg. The problem with other versions is that the eggs do not properly rotate down the rails, and if you nudge them, they just fall off and break - leaving you to manually move each egg which defeats the whole purpose. The eggs sometimes do not automatically roll down with this model either, but you can easily give a light push to send them down without any falling off the chute. The only thing I do not like about this one is the tacky color, but functionality is more important to me!It was a little difficult to put together with lacking instructions, but my husband had it done in about 10-15 minutes. Some of the other reviews have some good tips for putting it together.

Assembly required. No directions, tiny screws. Functions as expected.
As expected.....once I assembled it. Assembly directions would have been helpful. Pretty self explanatory except the one big screw that has to be put in between two specific pieces in a specific order. After screwing together 6 other pieces wuth itty bitty screws and realizing I needed to take most of the segments apart to place the big screw that attaches the track to the base I was a little annoyed.

The finished product might be nice (the picture looks good
Be forewarned, this comes not only totally unassembled, but with ZERO instructions. Not even a diagram. I had to return it. IKEA furniture I can figure out, but throw me a bone with a visual hint or two, at least. The finished product might be nice (the picture looks good, after all) but I have no way of knowing.

This may or may not work for you
This is a cute and clever device that saves space in the fridge if your fridge, like mine, doesn't come with an egg shelf. However, it's cheap and poorly made. The sections of the raceway are held together by design--the edges of each section are supposed to sit inside a lip--and also with little screws, which are provided along with a tiny screwdriver. The problem is that the screw shafts are too short to make contact with the plastic, so even if you can screw them into the screwholes (not an easy task), they do nothing.I've owned this for about six weeks and so far it's doing its job, and I enjoy looking at it. The base is also big enough for stowing a butter dish, which I do. If it falls apart, I won't buy it again. I'll buy something similar, probably more expensive, because it's worth paying more for a quality item.

It will not hold together by snapping it so will have to try super glue to make it work
Shipping took almost 30 days and it is cheap plastic. You need 18 small screws to hold it together and only received 8. Needless to say if it is picked up by the egg holder it will fall apart because there wasn't enough screws. It will not hold together by snapping it so will have to try super glue to make it work.

Modifiable to what we wanted!
I'm really happy with this egg skelter. I had looked at a few other coated-wire versions that are lovely but price around $50, plus shipping. Although it possibly would last for years, the price wasn't what I wanted to spend so I went with this one and free shipping with Prime. As other reviews have said, it comes without instructions and needs to be assembled. However, it took less than 10 min and comes with the screws and screwdriver needed. Yes, the screws are tiny. However, the bag they come in has a ziplock, not one of those rip-and-tear bags where they all go flying. The pieces snap together rather intuitively, screw the screws in to secure. Place on the platform with the green plug between the skelter and base and use the one large screw to secure the two together. Place the cap on top. Done. If you have significant arthritis, I would recommend having another set of hands to help just because the screws are small. I have RA, one of my kids helped and had it done in minutes. We didn't need the egg run to be as tall, so we left off a couple pieces to make it shorter. That's a nice part of having to assemble it, you can make it the full height or shorter if you'd like. We also decided to paint ours to match our kitchen, the same color as the $50 one I had my eye on, and that took just a few minutes, too, plus drying time. It is plastic, so it's sturdy enough to sit on the counter and fulfill its use, but probably nothing more. I posted a pic of the end result with our Cream Legbar, Orpington, and Australorp fresh eggs from one morning and also with some of our Easter Eggers and Black Copper Marans another day to see how the volume lays building up the carousel. They get eaten, given away, or sold before it's full, but we have the other pieces of the egg run to extend it, (that we didn't originally add), if needed. Fits the bill for us and maybe for others looking for the same.

It is a great way to store the eggs
There were no directions in English, so I had to rely on the pictures. Some minor difficulties putting it together, but it is doable. It is a great way to store the eggs. They do not roll down quite as easily as expected, so just gently guide the eggs when you're removing an egg from the bottom.

Used product. Came with dried goopy food on product
Came with no instructions as to why I needed screws, screw driver and a weird looking blue piece. This product came from the box looking like it's been used. Dried food was all over it. I had to soak in bleach and wipe is down just to be sure it was clean...
