AR11N-300 WiFi Bridge Repeater
Once setup this is a good little WiFi bridge. Essentially it enable a LAN only product such as an older Humax Recorder to have WiFi capability just by programming the AR11 up and plugging one cable into the LAN port and the other into the USB port. It can be a bit tricky to log into to set up, particularly if you are not IP savvy. Once in though, you just use the wizard to programme it up. A recommended product.

Product worked
Bit fiddly to set up but once done works really well. Great solution to a device that needed its own connection and also boost

Works Surprisingly Well
I bought this to connect a non-wireless Samsung laser printer to my wireless network. For under £18 this little device works surprisingly well. It is really easy to setup, you barely need the included manual. It runs of 5VDC so for now I have powered it from a spare Amazon Firestick power adapter. If like me you have a printer with a USB B-Type port (which most are) you can get a B-Type male to A-type female converter here on Amazon, which I have ordered to see whether this will power it and free up another plug socket. In "bridge mode" DHCP is passed from the connected Wifi network and passed to the device connected to it's Ethernet cable. This little device can also be used as a router and a wireless access point. My only compliant is that the LED's are really bright - but nothing a piece of insulation tape won't solve.

Strong Signal But IP Conflict Problems
Wanted to get stronger WiFi around the house for flexibility of Laptop use. In Hotel mode it worked out of the box with no setting needed - immediate strong WiFi. However I had some problems with other devices no longer being able to connect even LAN ones:- PCs CCTV, and NAS drives. I found that I had used the wired LAN cable that comes with the device instead of the LAN port. However even when this was corrected it took a long time for me to get everything working again - my fault I suppose but in mitigation the guide on the website seemed different from those in the ting accompanying booklet. In summary - a very good device that could be improved with better instructions.

More useful then I expected
I brought the wifi dongle for an ethernet connected printer which I wanted to convert to WIFI. This was a simple process and the printer worked well and I could print from any pc in the house.I have CCTV cameras connecting to a Cisco POE switch which has an ethernet cable connecting to my WIFI router. I have recently moved the router so my cameras have not been working. As an experament I connect the WIFI dongle directly to the Cisco network switch which has enabled the switch to be connected to the WiFi. This has allowed me to connect the CCTV cameras back up without any problems. I then connected my printer back to the switch and everything is now working via the WIFI. So I am very happy and would recommend this to anyone.

Works fine once setup
I needed to use this in WiFi Bridge mode to connect my CCTV PVR to a WiFI router (previously connected via Ethernet). The setup is a little fiddly - but not impossible. One thing to note was that if you hide your SSID on your router, then this device does not pick up your network on the initial pass, even if you manually enter the SSID and security details. You will need to unhide your SSID, setup the bridge mode parameters and then re-hide your network SSID. This doesn't need a separate power source - if you have a USB on your PVR, then the device can be powered from that. Overall, it's fine.

Takes some messing to get running
I've revised my opinion on this but...To connect to my AP I had to set bridge mode manuallyThe setting that seemed to fix things is to choose MAC transparency not IP transparencyAlso, the web interface for this device doesn't work well in Chrome. I used Firefox and that seemed betterMy previous review said:This product is rubbish. it does not work at all in bridge mode. It doesn't seem to keep its config after reboot. I got less than 10Kb download and then nothing at all
