15 steps to song creation using this book and its MIDI file
[...]My blog link above contains a very concise approach toward song creation by applying the contents of this book and it's supporting MIDI file that has examples of each progression type covered in it.This book is the work of a genius, and tapping it requires use of MIDI to make us adept at its application to the creative process underlying musical composition.

Very in depth
I have been very impressed with this book. I have gone through many others, but they never cover any more than the basics. This starts out with the basics and moves on. I have read many books from this artist and love them all. Well worth the price.

If your'e thinking of buying a Grimoire Book, this is the one.
I have read all of the books, but this one takes the cake. All the other Grimoire compendiums are good reference manuals, besides the exercise book, which with this book is all one would need to begin Mastering the guitar. Very pleased, this information is not anywhere else so detailed and revealing.

A lot of great information
Shows you many chord progressions/chords in a particular key. Shows many scales to solo in specific keys. Circle of fifths. Big book with a lot of great stuff. You may need to sift through what is relevant or what you would like to get out of it.

Logical, impressive work
Like most things, this piece takes a bit of patience. However, written in open chord sequencing, it inherently demands a knowledge of many chord structures all over the fret board. Initially I found it intimidating. However, the reinforcement of the Circle of Fifths and the voicings that come from it I found indispensable to my learning.Once I was confident and figured out the the authors method, I understood the logic. Impressive work.

Was Given a Used Copy
The book is pretty decent, but I am disappointed in the fact that I was given a used copy of the book. For the price that I paid for the book, I was expecting to get it brand new. Nothing in my order specified that I was getting a used copy, and then when the book arrives in the mail the first page has an inscription written in it, dated November 1st, 2013.
