Easy to use looks great

The little pieces of metal that are used to secure the hasp and the thing that holds the hasp closed are cheap and flimsy. It works, and that's what's important.

Absolutely beautiful. Exactly how it looked in the picture. It’s going to look great on my antique cedar closet that I’m rehabbing.

I bought these to dress up some black lacquer cabinet doors. I also bought brass corners. They look great. We made this built in to use space between two support beams that was just empty space. The black lacquer is to match our Asian style dining room set. These are just what was needed to dress them up. I had them on for about two months. So far no discoloring.

I like the design of the hardware. I do hope they expand a little in their selection to include more small box hardware.

I loved the look of the design on this and decided to get it to use on a tome I'm making. The pieces are solid and look great. I actually painted mine in chrome (loved the design, just not the color) before attaching them. Since I was applying them to a leather-bound board cover for my tome I used an adhesive behind to adhere it then used small brad head nails that had a little larger head than the nails that come with these and simply inserted them in the holes then flipped it over and hammered the nail body sideways and then flat into a shallow groove I etched in the back of the board. It made it very secure and looks great. The only problem I had was that the joining pins were so large. I had to tighten the curve a lot to get them to a small enough size to hold the latch and the pin in any type of secure fashion. Though the joining pins were thin I had to etch a small groove for them on the inside board as well so that the tome's lining would lay smoothly.
