iRainy KX-101 Salar Series 4.0mm Stereo Sound PC Gaming Headset with PC Remote (Green)

Many have heard the old saying, "It's nothing to write home about." I could say the same about these headphones, "They're nothing to write a review about." LOL, but for your benefit I will.The headphones are average at best in every area. The fit for me with an average size head and ears, was a bit loose. The sound had to be turned up substantially in games. The mic did not work until I set up the boost via windows all the way up. No instructions were given concerning this issue, so at first I thought the mic was faulty. The fiber cable tangled fairly easily. To be fair, you do get what you pay for. If you need a basic set of headphones that don't really provide any bass in gaming, then these are it. If you are looking for something more, then you will need to spend more. I took a chance and tried them and am sending them back so I can at least get $13 back after paying Amazon for the return shipping. I don't need to have these collecting dust. If all I have to spend is $20, then I might consider them.

I had to order two of these before I got one that worked. The first one that was sent had no sound in the left ear, VERY bad sound in the right ear and the microphone didn't work at all. I liked the way that they felt so I decided to try a second set. I had to send it back to Amazon and wait another three days for the second headset to come in, which left me with no sound on my PC. Pretty annoying. The second one has been great though, I have no complaints at all. The sound is pretty good and the microphone sounds exactly the same as my last (more expensive) headset did. They're VERY comfortable on your ears and I also really love the cord on them. They have a braided/shoestring sort of cord which discourages my evil cats from chewing them to death. I am nothing but thrilled with these so far, they'd have gotten five stars if it weren't for the first bad set that was sent.

Since the day i got the headset they have worked absolutely perfect, BUT the 1 thing that is keeping me from giving it a better rating is due to the fact that the cord coiled up on itself and any other cable it rested on when i was done using them. I am constantly having to pull the coils apart for them to even reach from my computer to my head.

I Ordered this Headset and when i got it. it looked awesome i couldn't wait to use it i plug it into my windows 10 home PC and the sound works. yet it was a bit loose on my head. after that i tried out the microphone and well the microphone didn't work so i ordered a different headset called SADES SA-708 Stereo Gaming Headset White and it was not loose on my head like the Salar one. You shouldn't get the salar one get the Sades Sa-708 stereo gaming headset it is way better

My son liked this headphone in terms of wearability, but unfortunately we had to return because it had feedback issues. Not sure if we just got a bad set since we had a backup headphone set which we just used instead of buying another.

My son loves them. But the charger has stopped working. works great but can not charge it. My warranty has ran out as well so now ill have to buy a new set. Very disappointed because we only had them for a few months.

I am a Gaming YouTuber. I bought this headset with very little expectations, what with the low pricetag and all. I have been blown away by this product. The sound is terrific, they fit nicely, and above all, the mic quality is terrific. My collaborative friend, who uses a Blue Yeti professional mic to record during our sessions, couldn't believe I wasn't using an expensive microphone. Overall, this headset is much better than the $50 Sony PlayStation headset that I used before.I definitely recommend it.
